Recent slight upgrade on Beware 10.
Have an undercopy if anyone's interested!

Only a 2.5 or so, but what the hey. Stumbled onto it.
Nice find! Such a classic. Congratulations

That's a sweet one. I wouldn't have let it go!
Me neither, no sir!
O - wait -
I am forever grateful, kind sir

Picked this one up from a fellow boardie a little over a month ago. Couldn't be more pleased

That sounds fun! Do you mind if I string along?

Bringing in that special ingredient.
Wow! Very nice!
That book is next to impossible to find, and your copy looks great

Half the fun is making them.
That's an absolutely stunning book!

Thanks everyone for the kind words regarding the TOT #15. There were several occurrences over the las few years where I was a dollar short, and a day late on owning a copy, but now I finally have one to call my own

A recent purchase from Metro. Can never go wrong with a LB Cole cover. Looking forward to this one making its way home.
Very nice. If I had seen that before you it would have been mine!

I know it's not the toughest pch to find, but I've always wanted to score a decent looking TOT 15. Maybe I'll upgrade down the road, but I'm very pleased with how this recent addition presents

Reading all the puns on this thread are enough to make my head explode.......

A recent addition to my Atlas collection:
Good life lesson. Don't shake hands with the Devil
Great looking book, and nice addition, Mike!

I love that this thread has been resurrected from it's slumber
Really awesome books (and narratives) by Jayman and Vaultkeeper!

Thanks folks (thumbs u
I always thought it was Simon as well, but without the Overstreet or CGC confirmation, I was just curious about other peoples views on it.

Absolutely stunning books, Straw-Man!
I've always been curious if Fantastic Comics #8 is a Joe Simon cover (or at least, a partial cover)? It's not listed as such in either the Overstreet or CGC label, but the style of Samson on #8 seems very similar to the way he's drawn on the cover of #7.
Any thoughts or insight?

Well my show has already been a success. Met Dr. X, Bomber-Bob and Rick Starr, and picked up two lovely pre-heros including a nemesis book. Not much money left, but that's ok!
Sweet! What was the nemesis comic?
TOS #18 7.5, with a TTA #31 7.5 white thrown in for flavor. Pics in a few days when I get home to a real computer.
Those sound like fantastic pick-ups, Art! Congratulations!
Can't wait to see them

Super happy to get this one. I passed on a copy 5 or 6 years ago, and Dale scooped it up right after me. It's not the same copy (this one is much nicer), but Dale was nice enough to hook me up with this one instead.
VERY happy to cross this one off of my list. A very, very tough issue to find in decent shape.
I actually had that book in my hand yesterday, and I put it back. I knew it would sell instantly. Congratulations on the great gem!!!

My photo doesn't do the book justice, but I have Dale Roberts to thank for this beauty, and for getting Wizard World off to a wonderful start!

Sorry, I know the picture quality is terrible. Special thanks to Andy (Thirdgreenham) for providing the 2nd to last book I need to complete this run. Now if anyone has an unrestored Tec 27 to finish the run (for some reason I've never wanted to own a 33), please shoot me a PM

Atlas published 399 pre-code horror books, more than any other publisher. For example, that's more than 4x what EC put out.
Wow! That's a lot of books. Is that including Men's Adventures, and Amazing Detective Cases when both titles dipped into the horror genre?

I can't seem to access my entire post history. I apologize if I've shared this before.
As most of you know, I acquired 99% of my books raw (in the pre-CGC days, well before Atlas stuff caught fire). I did complete the 57-book title run, but I only had a couple of the sub-FN books certified. The "nice" portion of the run is shown below: one Bethlehem copy (#30), six Circle 8 copies (#52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57), five River City copy (#20, 22, 23, 26, 27), five White Mountain copies (#2, 8, 13, 14, 15), one issue from Díck Ayers' personal file (#40), eight Petaluma copies (#21, 28, 33, 34, 35, 36, 39, 50), and ten uncirculated but three-hole punched copies from the Eastern Color files (#42-49, 51, 52). Enjoy!
Absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing these Jay
