Recently picked up this nice Northford copy, and I displayed it in the Recent Pre Code Purchase thread, but I figured this thread could use a healthy bump as well
-
Was lucky enough to recently find a real nice Northford Menace #3 on Metro. They also briefly had a nice Menace #11, but it was already gone by the time I completed my invoice for #3 (had a feeling that was going to happen).
Great book...
I was the one who 'bought' the Menace 11 (8.0, Northford.) However, after I paid they decided not to sell it to me.
I'm really sorry to hear that. I had a feeling that they were going to do that to me with the Menace #3 as well, considering they pulled the same thing on two of my previous four invoices, so I called them first thing the following morning to make sure that they would run my credit card. I guess I got lucky this time.......

That's an absolutely unreal stretch of books! Congratulations

Finally got another one of these..... I INSTANTLY regretted selling my first copy a while back..... it's got one of my favorite Everett covers and stories inside. This is the Circle 8 copy and I'm so happy with it. It's out of the slab now.... breathing and shining like a good Atlas should.... GOD BLESS...

I'm very pleased the UT 39 made it to you safe and sound, and I know it's gone to a great home, but I'm already having some sellers remorse
Congratulations, and enjoy the great book Jimbo!

This one came back from CGC as a universal 7.5 with OW pages.
.....That's the first Atlas PCH that I ever owned (... not that particular copy) .... what a cool book.GOD BLESS...

Ironically in my experience it proved to be one of the toughest to find, especially in decent shape. Great copy.
....I'm having trouble seeing why it isn't an 8.0 ..... must be something on the BC GOD BLESS...

Honestly, CGC has me guessing all the time. I thought that the ST 15 would get a 7.0-7.5, but I don't have my books pressed before sending them to the slab factory, so maybe there's room for some of these to get bumped up?
-
And I'll add one more Atlas PCH for the day.
This one came back as a universal 7.5 with Cr/OW pages. Personally, this has been one of the tougher books to find in a nice, structurally sound condition.

Got this one back from the slab factory, but I don't have a good image of it in the CGC case. It got a universal 6.5 with White pages. Thought it would do a little better , but I'm still very happy to have it tucked away in the collection!
.... I love this one.... and it looks like a solid 7.0 or 7.5...... nice book. GOD BLESS...

...... I just got a decent boardie discount from Jon on this book. OSPG listsss it asss the firsssst Lizard prototype
Thanks Jimbo! I thought for sure that the Uncanny Tales 10 would get at least a 7.0, and I was keeping my fingers crossed for a 7.5. Oh well, that's why I love the books and not the numbers they're given.
Wonderful pick-up on the AIT 8! That isn't a book that pops up very often, and I really dig the "You Can Only Die Once" panel!

Well, it's dated too late to be a Timely book, and it's dated to early to be an Atlas book? Anyways, I'm a big fan of this great mystery/horror themed cover by Burgos.

Picked up a great Shocking Mystery 50 from Karl. He was very friendly to deal with, and he shipped the book immediately.

A 1.. 2... and 14
Absolutely stunning!!!
-
Very nice, and one you don't see too often!
Thanks Jayman! It's definitely one that doesn't pop up in decent grade too often. I missed a chance at this book when it was on a CLink auction a few months back, but I was more than happy to snag it when I had a second chance at it.

Very happy to add this recent Hollingsworth pickup to the collection
-
Bump for one of my favorite books:
That's a very tough book to find in a decent grade. Very nice
-
Threesome pickup
-
Bump for Everett.
Really great books, Johnny545! Keep 'em coming!

Here's a new one for me
Really nice copy of a great L.B. Cole cover! Congratulations!
-
It may be a lower/mid grade copy, but I'm very happy to have this one in the vault
Very nice presenting copy. (thumbs u
+1, congrats. Love this cover!
Thanks! I was very happy to come across this copy. It seems like presentable early Fox issues with Joe Simon or Lou Fine covers are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Congrats! That's a great looking book, and it presents really nicely
