  1. Only 33 left Sir - well into profit, many, many months ago. Thankyou for your concern though. Sold quite a few Crossed recently as well, you might want to dig up the several hundred you have boxed away. Always nice to help out a fellow boardie (thumbs u Definition of a troll comment And why would that be? Just asking, or do you have to PM someone for instructions?

  6. google.com or google.ca crossed avatar movie http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/10/13/garth-ennis-and-avatar-to-make-their-own-crossed-movies/ first link a PM also works, but i guess that's the eBay thread now HEY JIMMY/ALEX/CANADIAN FELLA - looks like a movie to me They've got a real camera and everything - like the idea to keep it "R" rated - except for the 'unrated' DVD - wth is going to be in that?? Good deal for me, buyer is delighted and has been a Crossed reader since issue, err #0 ! Sold a few to regulars now, and a couple have it on their want lists. Going well. Nice to know every Canadian boardie seems to be complelled to keep an eye on my listings.
  7. Best thread in CG for months. Thanks guys keep 'em coming! (I was going to put up the 'Vision' cover but android/Robot - wasn't sure - glad someone did!)
  8. ^^^^^ That is the dogs nads, right there. One sold on here very recently. I was sooooo tempted. What a great cover!
  9. whos to say what "FMV" is as things are always changing. TBP: It's a point well taken, but when folks start selling for markedly lower than the prior sales that will surely affect FMV and create a downwards trend. I guess my point earlier should have been: the collective sales determine FMV. So if you're willing to drop your pants and let someone shove their fist into your small intestine for a few sheckles, then the rest of the folks are due for a prostate exam as well. Facepalms notwithstanding. Too true - some guy was knocking out Bedlam #1's CGC 9.8 for $20 - must be a boardie as he was also dumping Rachael Rising and East of West for peanuts. Selling a few for $35-$40 as they are listed but the resy are being sealed in a box and waiting for the 2nd arc. The guy sells really cheap jewelery mostly with a few comics thrown in - all moderns discussed on here - so got to be a lurker...
  10. Or maybe, Chew is finally in its death throes. I didn't really think it was anything special, and I know I'm not alone. First 10 or so were ok, but then fruits and chickens and space and...
  11. I see what you mean, since there were two low feedback buyers going at it at the end. With that said, the bidder with the highest feedback (504) was willing to pay $72, which is the highest a blue label 9.8 has gone for in a few weeks. The lowest being $41 last Sunday. generally when people shill, there is a mix of fake accounts in there. Some high, some low. The very fact that a week after a 41, people voluntarily paid double should scream alarm bells to you. Shills also know what people look for. So low account, with a high % bidding on one persons stuff is there to be seen in lazy shillers auctions (like this one). But whenever you see a ton of bids by very few people, (especially when low feedback accounts are involved), you should always question it. Yes sometimes bidding wars happen, yes sometimes people over pay. But, in the end, everyone should always be striving to buy for as low as possible, and sell for as high as possible. Unusual auctions where people are acting against their own best interests, always need to have an asterisk in my book.
  12. Hiya James - I never saw this before. I won't ship to Canada because for whatever reason The Canadian postal service will not accept tracked or insured parcels from Australia. Its as simple as that - cost is irrelevant - if you want to pay $75 for a slab from OZ, go right ahead, but I'm not sending anything out, that I cannot track or insure for obvious reasons. Perhaps your post office could enlighten you Canadian chaps, as mine certainly had no idea. This was introduced April 14th 2013. And I've not seen your dad James, good looking chap is he?
  13. I don't know enough about this particular book, but the 10.0 in your sig line.. Is that the book Hulk is looking for? Edumacate me. Yes it is the exact book he looking for, but shhhh dont tell him I dont want to spoil the fun! I keep picturing a Great Gatsby style party that hes attending, IDK why. So are you looking at new cars with this potential windfall coming your way? Or a new house as Hulk seems to have the cash... Man, great pickup for you! You going to sell (assuming thats the 10.0 #1a)? $ 75,000.00 USD + a 12 pack of Jelly Donuts I tell you what - if Hulk turns up on your door with cash (whatever amount) AND some Jelly Donuts - you have got to get that on tape and post it!! Sounds like the thing he would do tbh... Good luck to you mate!
  14. Hopefully not, its just Branget and his lapdog leaking tumultuous amounts of butthurt. I'd say its just Hulk getting his own back for the spiteful comments made regarding his Revival 10.0 purchase. Karma eh? Besides harming Brangets registry stuff (which most people only have a passing interest at best tbh - if at all) I for the life of me cannot see what the fuss is about? Same two people getting bent out of shape as they did in the Revival thread - hopefully Hulk will rise above the childish goading and not react this time Hulks money - Hulks decision to do what the heck he likes with it. Good luck to the man. (thumbs u

  16. There is a History channel show "digging WW2" - facinating, but very, very sad. They excavate planes, dive ships etc and try to provide closure for the families. I believe Canada may be financing it, as the first 2 (of 4) have involved Canadian fighter pilots and bomber crews. I'm sure you must get it in the US/Canada. Most searches are in Ireland, infact, one Spitfire was so well preserved, they got the Brownings to work within a few weeks. They weren't very accurate......which probably explained a lot. Great and respectful programme.
  17. Last time, it was a 'Regional variant' wasn't it? Chew, iirc.
  18. Or of course Hulk could put a huge WTB ad, quoting this cert number and offering 10K These boards are never boring are they?
  19. , I was more suggesting he become part of the community he is seeking to collect within. Obviously the money is no object method works as well. I'm sure if you offered the Dentist $50 million, he would sell you the top comic in the world. Oh let this go on CBT, this has been due for a while. Go Hulk!
  20. Fantastic Haul Hado - really pleased for you!
  21. What was the print run of #1 in the end please?
  22. Great deal mate - I'm still getting $120 - $150 for mine. Don't suppose the seller has any more
