  1. So they'll be visiting the Spider-Man 3 universe then. . .
  2. As a non-statistician (with the community college degree to prove it ) what would it take to move 86% one way or the other?
  3. Not liking the animation style on this, especially the characters. I prefer the style of the previous SAC / 2nd Gig series.
  4. Yeah, curious as to what would be in that "long list of mistakes".
  5. That's basically been my sentiment. After TLJ, I became pretty disillusioned with Star Wars as a whole and had really little interest in this last movie. I'll see it eventually on Disney+/cable/whenever the blu-ray goes on sale on amazon, but I've no interest in going out to see it in the theater.
  6. First scene of the first episode (2 minutes long) was also released. Found by going to the URL - RendellLockeIsDead.com. (redirects to Youtube) This looks like it'll be very good.
  7. Something, something, "used the Force", something, something, "Climbed into a refrigerator", something, something, "Deep Meditation Force Sleep"
  8. Heh, kinda looks like my room. I had to pack all my books and stuff up when I moved a year and a half ago, and they're still sitting where the movers stacked them up during the load out. I should probably take care of that . . . eventually.
  9. I think he was looking for the boundary of the bubble (for lack of a better term) that he's in. He shot them into the air and then watched to see where in the sky they disappeared (going from inside to outside the bubble).
  10. What'd they do, change the color? I'm not seeing a difference.
  11. A much improved version of Sonic. And as mentioned, The Flash comics scene was a nice reference.
  12. "When did you have time to go see Endgame?" Love this show -- can't wait for the season to start!
  13. I saw this last week. Did you ever contact Sideshow directly? Are they going to fix the situation?
  14. How has his character developed at all? How is he different now than he was at the beginning of the first movie? So far, his only purpose has been to motivate the actions of other characters. Luke to go play Hermit; Rey to find Luke and get Jedi training; Han and Leia to come back together. He hasn't grown noticeably stronger in the force. He hasn't become a better fighter. He hasn't become a better leader. He hasn't learned to control his outbursts or channel his anger and hate into something useful.
  15. I'm going to need some help in seeing this. So far he's gone from being a whiny, angsty, pretty useless character to . . . less whiny? Instead of Kylo Ren, he should have renamed himself Mac Guffin.
  16. if HBO Max isn't headed to Canada, what's the point of excluding content from the deal? Is it a money thing?
  17. Well, if you believe in that whole "midichlorians" concept, could the child inherit that from the parent?
  18. Does this mean you won't be able to watch it from the website like you can now?
  19. It better hope so . . AT&T loses another 1.3 million TV customers as DirecTV freefall continues
  20. I'd add Snoke, Captain Phasma, and the entire First Order to that as well. In my opinion, this is one of the biggest problems with the new trilogy. A great hero needs an equally great villain in order to make a great story. The hero, typically outmatched in his initial encounter with the villain, is put in the position of the underdog that has to overcome incredible odds in order to achieve victory, etc, etc. When has Rey ever seemed outmatched or overwhelmed against Kylo Ren? What have any of them (villains) ever done to generate a sense of concern in the audience for the heroes' safety? To compare: Darth Vader was in control and acted - Kylo Ren is not in control and reacts Anakin saw his mom die & had a premonition of his wife dying which led him to be manipulated by and turned to the dark side by Palpatine - Kylo Ren had Snoke dreams (maybe) Anakin fights a dramatic battle against Kenobi, the result of which leaves him broken (body, mind, spirit) completing his turn to the dark side - Luke goes to kill Kylo in his sleep and wakes him up Grand Moff Tarkin blew up Alderaan in front of Leia - Galactic DC gets blown up from a gazillion miles away by I-can't-remember-who (and no one seems to care that much) Emperor Palpatine had a presence and strength even though his body appeared old and weak - Snoke had . . . a red room? Vader and Luke trade hand amputations - Kylo and the First Order get fooled by a Luke Hologram Darth Vader, Force Choke - Kylo Ren, tempertantrum and so on and so forth.
  21. I wouldn't read too much into this. Of all the services out there now (and the ones still to come) which one has the highest probability of blowing through a plan's data caps because Little Susie wants to watch Frozen for the eleventy-millionth time? Verizon will more than make up the cost of the service (discounted, I'm sure) with people upgrading their plans.
  22. They showed the trailer during one of the games yesterday (I think it was Bucs/Panters in London) and it didn't look that bad.
