  1. I agree. Unfortunately, I have a feeling we'll end up with something closer to Aeon Flux or Ultraviolet
  2. Just got this in. . . Walking Dead #1 Wizard World St. Louis 2013 Edition. Signed by Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Robert Kirkman & Tony Moore
  3. Bought a few books from Dave's latest sales thread and I couldn't be happier. Smooth, quick & easy from beginning to end. Bundle came bound with painter's tape (What a novel idea! ) All in all, this transaction was a total Thanks again! Anthony
  4. Don't you just hate it when . . . You submit a sequentially numbered set of books to be graded, whether they're a run from a series or all from a self-contained miniseries, and they all come back with the same grade . . . except 1?!And that one just happens to be in the middle of the set, sending your OCD into Overdrive?! This happened to me recently when I submitted the 5 Variant Cover books of the Marvel Miniseries 5 Ronin. I did my best examination to make sure they were 9.8 worthy, packed them up and sent them off. After a few months, when I see that the grades are available, I get that mixed feeling of excitement and dread. I wanna see the grades, but I don't wanna see the grades, ya know? I click the link and scroll down the list till I see the titles. #1 - 9.8 woohoo! #2 - 9.8 yeah! #3 - 9.6 hunh? #4 - 9.8 yay, but ?? on #3 #5 - 9.8 great, but wtf on #3? I look at the grades again, just to be sure. There's numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 all with 9.8. And that #3 with a 9.6. Yep, I wasn't imagining things, that's a 9.6. Right. In. The. Middle. Of. The. Set. sonofa. . . I know it's dumb, but I think I'd have been happier if it was the first, or the last, or if they had all come back 9.6. It's just something about it being the oddball right in the middle. . . arrrghh . . . like an itch I can't scratch! So now to CPR or hunt down a new copy? Decisions, decisions . . . 5. Another Mystery Box Sale, another satisfying experience! Can't go wrong in taking what he's offering.
  6. I knew I shouldn't have looked at those Hi-Res images. Looks like I'll be in line to order Batgirl too I thought the Wonder Woman looked much better in the pictures from the Con display than what they had on their site. It's not my thing, but those Court of the Dead pieces look really great too.
  7. Once you get one you want another and another and another ect... +1 . . . . .(+1 . . . +1 . . . +1 . . .)
  8. I'm so glad I decided to pre-order both of these. Paired up with Harley, I'll have my own collection of Gotham City Sirens Still not sure about that Batgirl though, even after seeing the picutres. I think I might just stick with the Bombshell version.
  9. Couldn't be happier with my purchases. He gets them out quick and their packed for a safe and secure delivery. He's in communication with you at all times. Nothing but 100% in my dealings with him. Anthony
  10. Bought a nice stack of Trades from Chuck's last sale. They arrived quickly, were well packed in the box and each one came packaged in its own bag with some of the thinner books having a backer board to keep them from getting bent. Couldn't ask for anything more and wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. (thumbs u Anthony
  11. Yeah, they're variants. The body sculpt is the same, but each have different heads and the Gray has the shirt. I don't mind, as it gives the buyer options. At $550 each, I'm guessing there aren't going to be a ton of people getting all three. Ah, good point.
  12. Were all 3 versions purposely made to look the same? It looks like they used the same body and only changed out the head and paint color. I wish they had put in a little more variety between the 3. Either way, the next one I'm bracing for is the Sentinel. I've got a feeling that one's gonna make quite the dent in the old wallet.
  13. Picked up a couple nice ASM slabs. Transaction was quick and easy. Had books in hand by the end of the week. Thanks again! -Anthony
  14. Nice set My Harley is scheduled for delivery tomorrow
  15. Looks good enough to give it a shot when it starts, although it airing on Fridays will most likely mean DVR'ing it to watch later.
  16. Great set of Avengers books from Mike. Packed with perfection (and plenty of peanuts). Shipped out quick, received before the week was done. Wouldn't hesitate to do business again with him in the future. (thumbs u -Anthony
  17. Seems to be enough to keep these guys in business: Geek Chic - The League Geek Chic - The Alexandria Codex Comic Book Storage Chests Comic Cubes Unfortunately, I still have too many books on my Wish List to think about dropping that kind of cash for storage. Maybe someday, though
  18. Received: 11/6/2012 Shipped: 4/24/2013 Almost 6 months ~ 115 business days. And one of the books is coming back "Qualified" as there apparently was a signature on it. And I say apparently, as it's been so long since I submitted the book, I don't remember there being one on there and couldn't tell you who it was or why I sent it in. Hopefully, I'll remember when I get it in hand.
  19. Well, that's disheartening... Yep. 11/06 here. It's been sitting in Grading / QC for the last 3-4 weeks. Chalk up another two weeks spent in Limbo.
