  1. You guys are a riot. Today, I'm getting this: And I can assure you I have never searched for anything remotely like these . . .
  2. This. Comics are the only things that matter . . .
  3. I like the series . . . but then again, I love reprints too, especially those on newsprint.
  4. What about the coloring book ? I thought that was the alleged 1st App.
  5. Why did anyone slab that book in the first place???
  6. Not only does it look cool, but it's seriously harder to find in HG than the #1.
  7. And with that, this thread is OVER.
  8. By research, I assume you read about this in DiceX's thread. Assuming that the book is original and hasn't been married by anyone but the production line, it's an interesting situation. The presence of extra production staples should not impact the grade. It may or may not receive a note stating "Manufactured with extra staples." However, the extension of the cover may prevent the book from being graded. CGC used to reject and return books with significant "overhang", because slabbing them could result in causing further damage to the cover. I am not sure what they are presently doing.
  9. Bummer. Dry cleaning alone won't remove this. There are too many inks here that be affected by most means. I've had some luck with sticker adhesive using body heat alone .i.e., friction using the tip of your finger. Often it only succeeds in spreading the glue, but sometimes you can manage to remove it.
  10. Michael Turner CGC Signature Series With God as my witness?
  11. No offense, but this is more appropriate in a PM.
  12. Eventually, as the market and the (current) collectors mature, lame-azz 1st appearances, will be recognized as just that, and we will return to normalcy.
