  1. I like the idea of using quasi-multi-generational regression analysis.
  2. Clearly, these things can only be decided by those with multiple PhD.s . . .
  3. $80 for grading? I think less. Anyway, if you do get it graded - qualified is the way to go. My second OO copy graded 8.5 Q White, and if I remember correctly, I got $550 for it (and that was 15 years ago) - here on the Boards, in fact.
  4. Bingo! (keeps me active, and I find that buyers don't like trolling through eBay stores that much). I try to keep anywhere from 400 to 500 books listed at any given time, or approximately 50 to 60 books per selling account.
  5. I think I have two-different mini-series in my boxes - let me check. Yep - there is a three-issue mini from 1979 and a four-issue mini from 1987, but Seyg-El first appears (as stated above) in #3 of the 1987 4-issue mini.
  6. True "ashcans" haven't existed for over three decades - what they call ashcans now are just variants. Do the homework . . .
  7. That would be a play on Jerry Siegel, no doubt.
  8. You patent an "invention" not an idea.
  9. I dumped photobucket years ago - there are so many other services which are better with less down time and no ads.
  10. I have no idea what Quasar is wearing . . . I tend to focus on her "costume".
  11. I remember one cover that was all blue, thought it was Subby or Iron Man, but couldn't find it . . . anyone?
  12. But that was more of a Silver Age style methinks
  13. And here I thought this thread was going to be about real monochrome books, not just B&Ws.
  14. I agree. I went back and read the series start to finish . . .kind of like Netflix as I have every issue through the Kirby tribute ish. I have to say I really enjoyed it. The buyer btw is a regular customer who I doubt had any interest in the "news" but that I know is a a "pure" collector.
  15. Yes, that sale is over two months old. Oh yes, I forgot, recent for you is the last time you choked the chicken . . . I can't help it with you youngsters.
  16. Some recent BA Sales . . . I think the market, although not scorching, is rather robust: Marvel: AMAZING ADVENTURES #16 Jan 1973 NM- 9.2 W BEAST STARLIN JUGGERNAUT WESTERN PENN DEFENDERS #17 Nov 1974 VF+ 8.5 1st App WRECKING CREW LUKE CAGE App MARVEL Comics DAREDEVIL #176 Nov 1981 NM 9.4 W Frank MILLER Art ELEKTRA 1st App STICK NETFLIX LUKE CAGE POWER MAN #20 Aug 1974 NM+ 9.6 (Q) W 2nd App COTTONMOUTH MARVEL Comics CAPTAIN AMERICA #159 March 1973 VF+ 8.5 W FALCON App MARVEL Comics PICTURE FRAME DOC SAVAGE MAN OF BRONZE #1 Aug 1975 NM 9.4 MARVEL BUSCEMA Art New MOVIE!
