  1. I guess you would say she is accelerating. Still weightless. I find the entire subject rather "uplifting"
  2. Well . . . it doesn't really look like that. Anyhoo, two major Marvel titans battling it out on the front cover.
  3. Is it just me or is this just half a thought? . . . maybe just a burp now that I read it again.
  4. Someone needs another pee and vinegar to improve his disposition.
  5. why? I think it may have something to do with the cover???
  6. OMG! A rare RMA quasi-appearance! and for that I thank our good Lord every day, and twice on Sunday. Edited 7 hours ago by MAR1979 RockMyAmadeus 1
  7. Please correct me if I am wrong, but the scoring would be better if it were more proportionate, e.g., a guess that is .2 off should score lower in all cases than a grade that is .5 off, and so on. If it is indeed already scored like that (but observation, I believe shows it is not) then my apologies. For example, if you guess a 9.2 and the book is a CGC 9.0, than you should get fewer points than those who guessed an 8.5. Capiche? Capisco!
  8. It's very comforting to me that we agree on very little about anything.
  9. Great thread, I'll pull mine out . . . tomorrow.
  10. Bats and Spideys for the most part, which of course are the stalwarts of any rebound.
  11. My best round yet! (Except for the WW - CRASH & BURN Steve Rogers!) And I even noted the full-length sub crease!
  12. Clearly the detached cover didn't factor into the score at all. (Just because a detached cover is allowed in a 3.0, doesn't mean the book grades a 3.0)
  13. And pieces missing to boot! (Must've been a Charter Member submission)
  14. Let's get this thread back on track . . . I'm starving here! (And we all know why cassettes are rare - because they were krapola and everyone threw them out.)
  15. The newsstand phenomena is particularly absurd as most of us collectors (from the sixties and early 70s) eschewed the appearance of the barcode from its very beginning . . . and on the front cover?!? Absolutely no need to impact the cover art.
