Interesting the price went up by a whole penny between #13 and #15.
As a young lad I used to get Half a crown (2 shillings and sixpence) pocket money on a Thursday night, which was my fathers payday.
This would allow me to buy 3 x 8p comics from various newsagents as I rode around every Saturday morning trying to find what I wanted and I would have 6p left over
Shortly the price rose to 9p so I had 3p left and when the price went up to 10p I was just happy to have collected 3 more comics.
Memories EH!

I’m at 3.5 with the large creases and top edge wear.
As for how you did...I’d say you maybe graded high. As for how you did in terms of a pick up, depends on what ya paid:)
Yes I probably was a tad over optimistic with grade
As for price this has been in my collection since the late 70’s early 80's so not that much at all

Thanks very much for ALL the replies guys.
Yes it was sending to USA from across the pond in postage and pressing costs that I was taking into consideration depending on grade potential.
It’s been in my collection for over 40 years so cost of book would have been minimal so that’s a plus factor.
Cheers 👍

I would be delighted with that high a grade but with wear as you say, spine ticks, some corners etc I would say less 😢
