  1. I do not want a collection that will sit inside a safe or a box. If something is cool, I want to look at it and enjoy it. I am in the hobby for me not as an investment. I make sure that there is no sunlight in the room at all. That being said, that means most of you might not like my comic room. :) I am only showing three walls because the 4th wall has too much identifiable stuff like diplomas and other nonsense.

    Hoki, Hoki, Hoki, Hi! :hi:

  2. see Microsoft bottled giving a date before Sony, and that they are giving FIFA 14 away free with the XBone

If MS is thinking about releasing before Sony at all, assuming that Sony releases the PS4 in late October/early November, I'd be really afraid and cautious of buying the X1 on release date. That would be MS trying to release their product in 2 months time. And with all these changes they've been doing the last minute, how could you think that MS would be releasing a high quality console?

  3. Sony announce on Tuesday what day the PS4 will be released

I'm predicting a late October, early November release

i really am unsure what they will say, i gotta funny feeling around 2 weeks before Xmas

Microsoft already said they'd release in November. No doubt in my mind Sony will one up them yet again by releasing it earlier. The console that releases first may be the deciding factor for many

  4. The funny thing is that Microsoft can still add the used game/DRM restriction at any time. It's built into the platform and buried in their EULA. So who's to say that they'd all of a sudden apply these restrictions? Quite frankly, I cannot trust them. Also, I believe they still require to have the Kinect camera connected. They're just a company that I have completely lost respect for especially with some of their employers' responses to questions we had regarding their system.

  5. Sony said FU to Microsoft lol

PS4 will dominate the console wars.

Everyone thought this when the XBox came out. Then again when the XBox 360 came out. Everyone laughed at the fact that Microsoft didn't include a Bluray player. Now it isn't even a battle between Sony and XBox. Xbox has crushed Sony.

And that is why I'm hesitant to run out and buy a PS4. Right now on paper it seems like the better system. But the same could be said about the PS3.

Sony cares about its customers as seen during the conference when they announced that there was no DRM, they support used games, doesn't require 24 hour check in, and doesn't need to be connected online. Let's also not forget about what happened when the 360 came out with the Red Ring of Death. I had to get it sent in 3 times, til I finally decided to switch to a PS3 and I haven't had one problem since I bought it. Sony's hardware is better, they care about the consumer, and they've constantly had great games

  6. Seems like Microsoft dropped the ball with their reveal. Hell, even Sony's stock went up. The reveal definitely had to be a contributor. No doubt I'm getting the PS4, but the decision on whether or not I also want the One depends on what happens at E3. But so far..... Sony, the World is Yours.

  7. I saw a piece that I was extremely interested in. The owner says that he is considering offers, but to be honest I don't really know where to start. How do you guys decide?

If you're unsure of the market value of the piece, try to find other pages from the same artist/series/issue, if possible, and see what they sold for.

You can also sign up for the ComicArtFans Market Data service .

But, my cynical side always avoids sellers unwilling to post a price. For the record, you can consider EVERY PIECE OF ART ON CAF as "considering offers" :makepoint:

I tried researching for more info about what the market value could be but got nothing. He said that he was still trying to figure out a fair price. Should I just wait for him to give a price or should I just throw some random offer out there?
