So, when and where did Great Pacific have hype?

In regard to the ComicsPro variant: Around 300 were given out. I think we printed 500 total, of which Nate, Jordie, Fonografiks, Image employees and myself got the rest. We did these as a thank you for ComicsPro retailers, just as we did the CBLDF to help support the Fund. We're only doing these kind of variants for issue one -- apart from new printings for later issues, we're not doing convention/store/retailer exclusives for the other issues. We're not doing Ghost Variants or Phantom Variants or variants for specific stores, ever.

 

Dang Can you hook me up with a job if Comics are the perks. I am in SF doing nada.

In the email for bid confirmation it shows the BIN at $300.. I just checked and see that BIN option is not listed on the actual site though

that was part of the original listing. once a bid is placed the "buy it now" is off the table.

i think i looked more at the image then the price.

asked around.. only people who attended todays meeting will get one copy. those members who missed it will not be able to order one. there was only a few hundred attendees today.

wait a few hours.... Its dinner time in Georgia now. As retailers finish dinner and drinks they will head back to the hotel and post. Same thing happen with Bedlam.

 

 

I suggest not buying them and sticking to just regular covers if you don't like variants. I don't collect every variant myself.

Did the retailers have to pay for them or were they handouts? If freebies, you can't blame Image for thanking a special few. The after market is a beast of our own making.

Most times these RRP Variants are freebies. Kinda of like a thank you.

Honestly I am enjoying the variants as long as they dont have one for every con/exclusive comic meeting/business.

 

Marvel and DC have multiple variants for each issue they put out, so it is nice to see a little variety..

 

I just hope they dont continue to pump out #1s for every series and NWM this summer

Just check the comics pro retailer members list......check to see if your favorite LCS is on there. Call them and let them know you want it. If they love you then they are yours. Glad my LCS loves me.

Lucky. My LCS did not go to the meeting. I believe you have to show up to the meeting to get. Just being on the list does not get you one. For shops to recover the cost of hotel and air fair they do these issues.
