ComicLink 2018 Show 'em if you got 'em
bluehorseshoe replied to DavidTheDavid's topic in Comics General
I had been looking for this in 9.8 for years. Just a tough cover on a book that wasn’t that easy to find even in the 90s copper heyday. I wanted it for the Jim Lee significance. CLink remains the place to pick up books on the cheap it seems; I would have paid 4 or 5 times what I did. 4 total 9.8s out there. x -

Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay
bluehorseshoe replied to fastballspecial's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
My opinion, and its only that, is that Dinesh's blueprint for his grand universe of films is going right out the door with him. If this company already owned 57% of Valiant, and they take the time, effort, and money to buy out the rest of it, to me it says they are going another direction. It doesnt matter to me one bit, I have my 90s Valiant books that remain my favorites, I'm not interested in anything Valiant puts out now, its just a bunch of pleasant memories for me, sort of like the Defiant Universe. -

Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay
bluehorseshoe replied to fastballspecial's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
I guess what I'm most impressed with is that you think "in talks" is actually more than some assistant associate producer having drinks with Vin Diesel's assistant's work-out partner's brother's pot dealer, who interned over at Sony a couple years ago. But keep grinding out that loyalty, some day all those Magnus Robot Fighter 12s will be worth $100 again. -

"...in talks with," are we qualifying that as Big News nowadays? I cant imagine what sort of hell it is to ride the Valiant carnival ride over the past couple years. -
