  1. He wanted two. I was obliged to provide.
  2. Fantastic bargains on those! Ive been after that Sienkiewicz cover, but hard to find, and never at $5 when you do. The Jusko covers are first rate too. Been hoping to find a Jusko Vampirella original painting, but they don’t seem to come to market. Congratulations!
  3. A beautiful Duranona full page as printed, plus the original art bonus.
  4. Per my PM, I’ll take these please. Bizarre Adventures 29 NM- $15 Monsters Unleashed 5 NM- $25 Marvel Comics Super Special 21 NM $20 Total $60-$12=$48 plus shipping. Thank you.
  5. You cant go wrong with the Skywalds. Two cool and difficult mags, so you’re off to a wonderful start!
  6. You lucky dog! I never had a full appreciation of Frank's art until I saw pieces in person. A totally different experience as you know from a print, photo, etc. Man did he build paint up thick sometimes. Great stuff!
  7. Great haul! Get these at a show, a shop or the web? If you decide you want to part with that #19, I'd pay handsomely for it. That #6 is really tough without stacking wear, yours looks fantastic!
  8. Much too thick. The higher page count Marvel graphic novels are likely about the limit.
  9. That seems like a logical argument against. However, I’ve always thought that there must have been more to his massive accumulation and long runs of books than just the reference material explanation. It just seems like far too much to acquire for that purpose alone. Maybe it was, but it just seems unlikely. I think most accept it, but if I needed to reference say, Bob Kane’s Batman, style, I could probably get everything I would need from a few issues. All that being said, I think you changed my mind on him for consideration.
  10. I would have to consider Russ Cochran, Edgar Church, Jerry Weist, and Roger Hill as well.
  11. By my calculations, that woman should be burning. Whatever knows fear..... ....burns at the Man-Thing’s touch! Great book. Congratulations!
  12. A beauty! The colors really pop, and the white is nce and bright. Well bought!
  13. I remember that catalog well. Back in those days it was fairly accepted that the ‘68 Marvel explosion books would never be worth all that much as they were so plentiful. This find was a bigger bargain than anyone could have imagined. I passed on all of this stuff and bought some Fawcetts from them instead.
  14. Thanks again! Great thread and looking forward to them.
  15. I think some of the first posts might not have.
  16. It's a great one to keep. All those fantastic Frazetta, Sanjulian and Enric covers.
