  1. The problem lies in what to base your offer from. Just ASM 312? Not saying you would game the system, but others would. How could anyone technically veto an offer where someone took a $20 item and the rest was unknown, for example? Slippery slope, as many have mentioned. I believe the best course, in fairness to everyone, is to wait for the current offerer to make his complete offer transparent for all. Well I took his first offering not knowing anything. This is #2. This is about giving, to me anyways. I'm a spiderman fan obviously and I've seen many of his sales thread to know he is honest. As for what will be given up, I will do my best. I have sent many people free books all the time....I believe in karma brother..... I am sure many here can tell you.......but, I couldn't post ,my offering till igot home tonight around 10, but these would be 2 of the items and I will dig up more tonight..........
  2. I will take the ASM lot, just back out of a meeting and I thought for sure someone would have taken it even though its only showing #312........I trust whatever else will be in there will be to my pleasure. Is this good now or???
  3. Tell me about it..... I married one
  4. If I am ok with the mystery box then what the heck.....but I am just talking now because I wanted it
  5. Well I would be ok with the ASM mystery box, I trust what he puts in the box.
  6. Well that asm box would have been nice.
  7. Box 23 , all ASM box. If it's allowed, just read that.
  8. This is better then any book right now
  9. Your case is different, you get yours at a low cost and are able to sell them off the shelf at a fair return I ordered Enormous NINETY days ago & got a 50% off cover price. ANYBODY can pre-order online at a 40% discount. That's damn close. Apple meet Mr Orange Now, If you missed pre-order on Enormous ( or ANY other book du jour ) as a retailer you are on a level playing field for copies with everyone else. It's ALL about the pre-order pal... You just keep going in different directions with every post.......I was talking to the guys in the thread chasing them off ebay , etc..... Pal.
  10. I agree with what your saying Larry. All I was trying I say is be careful buying up books at a premium. It just seems like some people are paying large amounts of money for some new books, thats a big risk if you are going to sit on them and hope for it to hit. Your case is different, you get yours at a low cost and are able to sell them off the shelf at a fair return. Apples and oranges.
  11. I thought it was ok, but lets talk in a year......it's just hype like every other book. Next week it will be a different one. If you keep buying books and chasing them after its hot...guess what, your to late. You will go broke and end up with boxes and boxes of .....cough cough ..blackacre......bedlam.........cough ....revival... I mean its your money , but........
  12. I sold about 20 or so #1's locally for $20 a piece over the weekend but I can't find to many other issues laying around that are 9.0 and up. It's like the hoard is on or something
  13. Ya I can imagine how many were tossed or folded and put in the back pocket. Time will tell........
  14. I would agree Court, you would think they printed a boat load of these. I would still think the market will demand #1 the book to have, along with the Stapes variant......but what the heck do I know.......
