    Totally agree. That’s why I find it crazy that the same ‘red flag’ isn’t seen for resto work on a comic. Especially if the amount of the job is in the thousands of dollars.  I could be out of line on this thinking as I never have resto work done before.

    All this "pay total up front before any work is done" is crazy.  Reminds me of a story my mother in law told me.  She lives in the mountains and her neighborhood street is dirt.  She and her neighbors have an HOA that covers road maintance, mainly for snow plowing in the winter.  One summer the HOA decided it would be a good idea to have the street graveled and then sealed.  The crew that the HOA hired started the work of laying the gravel, and the HOA went ahead and paid the full invoice before the seal was put down.  Needless to say the crew "disappeared" after the check cleared and all that loose gravel they put down eventually washed away.

    What's the longest series run you collected?

    Have a complete full run of X-Men(Uncanny X-men) 1 to present day - all the different volumes etc. (what ever legacy number that would be)

    ASM - currently working on a full run. Still need to get 1-17, 19, 22, 31... but other then that have up to present day with all the different volumes

    Batman - 144 to present day.  Starting to work down towards issue 100. 

    Detective Comics - 400 to present

    Had 1 modern book that had the wrong details on label (wrong variant/cover artist noted)  

    Received/SFG on 3/17 - Book noted shippped today 5/3  

    Details in submission tracking still notes wrong variant/cover artist, so I guess I'll find out when book arrives back to me if it was really fixed or not.
