Big Kudos to Brad (Apotheosis) for fast and safe delivery of his super HG SA X-Men #50. It is a great book that will remain in my collection for a long time. (thumbs u

Kudos to Apotheosis for a recent sale to me. 3 TPB that arrived quickly and just as described. Now I just have to find time to read them.
I second that, although now because of Apotheosis, I'm hooked on Fables. Great read! (thumbs u
Kudos to both Jeffreykli and Transplant for quick payments and making the sale easy for me. Glad you both like the Trades (thumbs u

My "Quest" thread doesn't get too much traffic and I thought this issue deserved a little more recognition... a couple others posted in the other thread as well...
Beautiful war stamp cover...

Since we've been traveling back in time, I must mention that 40 years ago this month, Jimi Hendrix released his first album. There's never been anyone like him since. I saw him last at the Berkeley Community Theatre on Saturday, May 30th, 1970.It was amazing.
You mean there was life 5 years before I arrived? Inconceivable!

Well, I'm kinda on a roll so here's another new one just arrived today (from Stephen Ritter, one of da best!). This is a 100 paged digest sized item; the only other one I've seen was posted in Bangzoom's thread recently (IIRC).
This is the Carson City copy, just beautiful with the only flaw being a 1" spine split:
I've been trying to find one of those for a few years now and I can't even find a beater copy... Nice pick up.

Kudos to Apotheosis for a large bunch of nice SSOCs, well packed in a 23 pound UPS box.
And the same right back to you. Easy communication. Quick payment. Very accommodating. Probably the best transaction I've had on the boards (thumbs u

Yes. It's one of the many ( ) variants for Grimm Fairy Tales: Return To Wonderland #1. The one in question is the Jay Co. "Gothic Lolita" version limited to 100.
-
A few variants...
German Edition - has a luminescent cover that doesn't show up well in scans
Bought a few of this one and sold most for double what I paid
Another nice one...

Just in today...
Anyone else annoyed with store stickers on CGC cases? This one arrived with a Heritage lot # sticker on the front and a large Metropolis sticker on the back. I know they can be taken off, but even while encapsulated I hate putting any kind of liquid near the comic to get the sticky residue away.

Kudos to ComicSupply. The purchase was from his website, but I figured that since he's a board member it would be ok. Extremely fast shipping on my CGC boxes and micro chamber paper (thumbs u

PM sent so that we don't completely hi-jack the thread (thumbs u

how funny!..Nope none yet. Comic Castle and Players Comics are still here but thats about it. I was born and raised here...when did you move to phoenix?
12 years ago this month. About 1 year out of high school. Still trying to get back there, but the home prices in Cali are making it a bit difficult.

Wow... a GA collector from my home town... will the wonders never cease... Have any decent comic stores opened in Riverside in the last few years?
