  1. Wow!

I can't believe what I have been missing not scanning this section much.

    Incredible books by all.

Thanks for the privilege of seeing such rare books!

And it's a pretty regular show around here. Stick around a while and you'll see some wonders, but be warned... hanging out in the GA section can/will cause an addiction that will consume your collecting world thumbsup2.gif

  2. Unfortunately, I'm only one major event (marriage, buying a house, etc.) from having to sell a bulk of my collection. When that day comes, some major sacrifices will have to be made. crazy.gif

Hmmm... maybe you should just sell off your doubles.... Jo-Jo 11 could go right? devil.gif

  3. The origins of the swastika come from its origins in sanskrit (thousands of years before WWII), include stories that the reverse swastika represents darkness, misfortune and suffering. Some say the direction means nothing or is ambiguous at best. I think that is what the artist was going for, the Skull is pure evil and the reversed swastika is a representation of darkness, suffering and misfortune.

Do you have a link for this information? Nothing that I've ever read states anything even close to this unless it's in regards to the Swastika and the Nazi's. Left or right facing has different meanings depending on the religion/culture, but none have it as evil. Even Wikipedia doesn't state it anywhere ( Wikipedia Link ). The Swastika is often labeled as evil these days even though it has universaly been a good symbol throughout history in just about every religion and culture.

Not trying to start an arguement... just genuinely interested.
