  1. Leaving the DC's for a moment, here are a couple of Caps from the Boston collection, 109 and 110 (both in CGC 9.8 with white pages).
  2. Two more beauties picked up this week, Cap 100 CGC 9.8w and Silver Surver 4 CGC 9.6 (it has been a very good week) . I must say that while you can certainly find these books if you look for them, I thought these two were really are superb copies I was completely thrilled when I was able to get them.
  3. Things are good. I took a break from collecting for a while but have been back pretty strong lately. Hopefully I will have a few more gems to post in the near future.
  4. No problem. Hopefully, I can get the next one. If you come across another copy, let me know.
  5. Thanks. I was very pleased when it arrived. Nowadays, not all 9.6s are alike and I was psyched when it showed up as a no doubt 9.6. As nice a copy as I have seen. I guess I got lucky!!!
  6. The top edge is actually pretty flawless (it might be the angle of the scan). The book does have a slightly soft top left corner (not due to SCS, just some minor flaking). Otherwise, I think the book would be a 9.6 as it is otherwise stunning.
  7. In keeping with my obscure DC hero theme, here are a few Pacific Coast gems, Strange Adventures 195 CGC 9.8 (1st Full Animal Man in Costume) and 205 (1st Deadman).
  8. Thanks. The BB 57 (Curator) is probably my single favorite book. Metamorpho (along with Animal Man) are my two favorite "obscure" DC heroes so when the BB 57 bacame available I was thrilled. Still looking for a high grade Strange Tales 180 (1st Animal Man) to go with it. By the way, absolutely beautful copy of BB 34 CGC 9.4 If you ever think of selling it, please keep me in mind.
  9. Thanks...here are a few more Brave and the Bold gems from the Boston Pedigree:
  10. And here are three more (all from the Boston Pedigree):
  11. I was posting some BB Pedigrees in the General Section and thought I might start an appeciation thread for this great series. Here is a selection of nice Pedigrees featuring Metamorpho (one of my favorite characters) to start the ball rolling:
  12. Don't know where the rest of the Curators are, but sticking with the "Metamorpho" theme (a favorite character of mine), here is a couple of Pacific Coast copies. Fist up, BB #66 CGC 9.6 featuring Metamorpho and the Metal Men (does it get better than this cover) and Metamorpho #1 in CGC 9.4
  13. I haven't posted to this thread before, but having seen all of the sweet pedigreebeing shared, I thought I would join in: Here is one of my absolute favorites, B&B 57 CGC 9.8 Curator (1st Metamorpho) And its companion, the Pacific Coast B&B 58 in 9.4
  14. Thanks for the link. Here is my first test of uploading an image from my photobucket account. Let me know if this works and if there is anything I can do to make the image better.
  15. The scan is attached to my original post (I don't know how to make it appear in the body of the post)...I have attached it again.
  16. Recent addition to the collection: Brave and the Bold 54 CGC 9.4 (1st Teen Titans) Double Cover
  17. Finally completed my 1-10 in 9.4 or better (except of course for #7) with this recent pick-up. As nice a 9.4 as I have ever seen!!
  18. Thanks!! I was really pleased to see them in person when they arrived. There's nothing worse than finding a high grade key and having it arrive and be AN OVERGRADED 9.4 (OR WORSE). In this case, I was fortunate and they are solid 9.6 with great eye appeal.
