Hi All - Just saw this thread and thought I would post a few of my favorite recent TTA acquisitions. Hope the scans work. Here's the first.

How's it going. I am glad you still have that TOS 39. Always great when these books find a long time home where they are appreciated. As for ebay, I still buy on ebay but do most of my selling through consignments sites (mostly pedigree). Prices realized are much better and Doug makes it real easy.

Hi All - In response to the recent posts (and Frederic's gracious PM) I thought I would introduce myself (frederic, soory it took so long to respond). I haven't posted to the boards in a couple of years (though I do check them out frequently). I will certainly keep an eye on this thread as ST is one of my favorite titles and am looking to upgrade many of the books I currently have.

I would like to see a well done "Captain America" movie (not the that they put out years ago). I think a hard-nosed, patriotic, kick the bad-guys Cap is just what we need right now. Other choices would be Doctor Strange (special effects could make his powers look awesome on screen). Also, Deadpool one of my favorite characters (kind of a cross between Spidey (wise-cracking) and Wolverine (bad-)).

Well the debate can be over now. I spoke with GOD last night and he told me "matter of factly" that the Bronze Age started with Conan #1. I admit I was pretty drunk at the time, but I know what I heard. Let's all thank the man upstairs for clearing this matter up for us.

One of the most perplexing questions in the industry (and for me personally). I would be very curious to hear your choices and your reasoning behind it. I certainly think it would be beneficial to have an "official" answer like the Golden Age (Action Comics 1) and the Silver Age (Showcase 4).
