Not that I can compare to Dan's big score, but I just bought a bunch of signed artist hardcovers (Steranko, Adams, Vess, etc) and vintage Disney paper paraphenalia. Included was this...and I can find zero information about it. It's an original 1937 Snow White World Premiere invitation.
The inside pages are just a sampling...this is probably 20-pages long, with similar local business ads wishing Walt well on his movie and short articles about different aspects of the film. I have a gut feeling it could be something "special" as far as value, but other than e-mailing Heritage I don't know where else to find out.
Peace,
Chip
Interesting piece. I would contact Rich, comicartcom is his board name, he might be able to give you some more information on it.

Just cracked this out!
Nice book! There seem to be a lot of wedding motif covers and I like almost all of them.

I just bought a 9.8 a few weeks ago

Downstairs bedroom that I am in the process of turning into a comic room.
This is one corner that I've turned into my bagging and boxing station for the time being.
I will post more pics when the room is done.
Nice set up. I think I could probably have a lot more comics if I could store them on the ceiling like you do

I received a slab from Hector that was securely packaged and obtain for a good price. I've done business with him a couple times now and will continue to do so. He's a stand up seller (thumbs u

I tried to read the first issue and couldn't get through it all. I enjoy most of Remender's stuff but the art was distracting and actually gave me a headache.
I should of known based on Tochini's previous work on uncanny x-force that I wouldn't enjoy this but I was hoping I could get by on just the story alone.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was lucky to be able to pick up the first 2 books from a boardie who was selling at the show. Jimbo, the mystic is a 7.0 but I don't have a legal size scanner and would rather show off the book than the label

I sold a book to Mike and he was super easy to deal with and paid quickly. I would gladly do business with him again!

For anyone that's interested Jason Aaron did an almost 2 hour interview on the most recent 11 o'clock comics podcast, episode 312.
There's a lot of talk about this book, his influences, process and also some marvel event book he's working on.
I that podcast.

I purchased a few silver age cap books and everything went smoothly. All books were graded accurately, packed securely and shipped quickly. I would be happy to do more business with Hector in the future.

I just ordered this piece. I'm very excited as SP it one of the first things I read when I was getting into comics. I wanted a band page and am stoked with this one. I especially love you can see the band symbol on the kick drum.

X-Force #116 first appearance of Doop.
No ones talking about.
Let me be the first.
What is Doop doing these days anyway?
Getting his own title, apparently.
Well that's the obvious. I recall seeing him in an X-men book not too long ago. But he was just part of the school I think, no major role. Guess he has just been on the back burner for a while.
He was in the wolverine and the x-men book. Issue 17 of that series has a really good one off story about what doop does.

So I was checking Craigslist this morning and I noticed a post that said they were clearing out old magazines and books from a deceased relative's house. I dropped by and stumbled across ten long boxes. I asked how much for all and the guy says "How about fifty bucks?" I insisted on giving him $100. So I load them in the car and at the end if the day I find this:
So I think I did alright?
Congratulations, what an amazing find!

Seeking your advice.
Is NM98 for BA12 (First appearance of Harley Quinn), both in raw fine condition, a fair trade? Who wins?
Thanks!
Assuming the same grade whoever is getting the BA 12 is getting the better deal.

#1-7, all first prints, $12. Been wanting these since I was 13 years old. Very happy.
Nice pickup! Seem to be in pretty good shape too for magazines.

This was my second transaction with Chris and everything went smoothly. The books were shipped quickly and packaged extremely well. I look forward to doing more business with him in the future.
