  1. Can anyone tell me what issues will be contained in the second arc?

I picked up the first trade and really enjoyed it and want to start getting the singles issues once the 2nd arc is complete. I'll be getting the 2nd trade when it comes out.

One thing I really enjoyed besides the creativity was the panel layouts. Not enough artists do smaller panels, especially 4 high on a page, Bagge and Bachalo are 2 that come to mind but otherwise it doesn't seem to be used that often.

  2. The bubble will burst it has to it went way to fast over the past few months. There are always copies available and its to high to fast for the rarity of the book. Its not as rare as people are making it out to be. Its one of those books that didn't get much respect because of the cartoon feel to it. With it hitting these heights I expect to see a flood of these come out of the wood work esp sent to get graded. Due to it being a cartoon kids book and the black cover 9.9 and 10 well be very tough to get until a warehouse find lol.

I'm not sure that I agree with you on this. There are not always 9.8 copies available, there are less then 100 on the census. I've been trying to obtain this book in this grade for almost half a year now.

  3. I'm confused. I pre-ordered the first issue last month and am looking forward to it and see preview pages for issue four but the image solicit that just came out says it's 1 of 2. Is this incorrect and it's suppose be an ongoing? Solicit as follows:

A VOICE IN THE DARK #2 (of 2)

story / art / cover LARIME TAYLOR

    DECEMBER 18

    32 PAGES / BW / M

    $3.99

    “BLOOD MAKES NOISE,” Conclusion

Zoey’s talk radio show will become a deadly public forum for her twisted listeners before she will even know what hit her.

  4. I was expecting Batman Incorporated #1 to sell for $100. But that has not been the case; it's selling for $50.

Batman Incorporated #1 = first appearance of Batcow.

Are you talking about the regular issue number 1 or a variant? The number one looks to sell for around cover or less.

I was adding to the Batman #1 (Snyder) discussiin.

My point was that you can find batman incorporated #1 for dirt cheap, at cover price like you said. I was not expecting that since (1) first appearance and (2) there were some Animal Planet & Batcow rumors floating around.

I was referring to CGC 9.8. You can easily find the normal cover for $50. A recent Febay auction had them go both together for $60.

I gotcha, thanks for the clarification. (thumbs u

  5. Went to a garage sale today where it stated on the ad they had a comic collection for sale. They had about 5,000 comics but everything was 1994+. Guy said he wanted around 4k for everything which seemed extremely high but he let me pick some things out. Spent about an hour looking so I'm sure I missed some stuff but I ended up getting deadpool 40-69 of the first series, nyx 3, amazing spider-man 30-50 vol 2, and batman 608-619. I think I made out pretty well since almost everything is 9.2+ and I paid $120. He said he would call me about the whole collection if he really needed to get rid of it.

I picked up Superman #293 a few days ago to join Olsen #115 in my "Superman denies people water" collection!

Interesting collection. I sold one of my wife's students that Jimmy Olsen book along with several other Superman books some months back hm

  7. I bought 4 books from Ken and had a great experience. The books arrived quickly, were packaged well, and were graded accurately. He even checked in with me to make sure everything arrived safely. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I would gladly do it again in the future.

  8. Has Multiple Warheads ever been discussed? I have been hearing from multiple people that it is a finished mini series that is going to blow up down the line.

This has been my first experience with Brandon Graham. I've only read the first 3 so far but they've been really good and I'm sure the print run isn't big. For those that have read it is there any symbolism or meaning behind the random numbers on different things?

  9. Selling online is different than owning a shop.. They have more of a need to make sure issues make it to more than one person anyway.

Youre getting mad over something he has the right to reject you on.. At least you got one

But I agree first come first serve should be something every store follows

I could see your point if this was a new book that just came out today (or a week ago). But this book has been out for the better part of a year now, and those books sat unsold for quite some time.

If you want more than cover price, then put a price tag on it. If you have a "limit 1" policy, then post it. Anything else is dishonest and unacceptable.

    :golfclap:

    Preach... :preach:

I totally agree with this. Let me share my similar story of an online incident I had this week. Directly after finding out that mind mgmt was going to be a movie I found a website that had a large amount of #1s for cover so I placed an order for 20 copies still leaving 7 in stock. About 2 hours later I get an email stating there is a limit of 2 for this item. When I placed my order there was no limit shown however after I had ordered they placed a limit and increased the price to $25 each. I argued back and forth for awhile but only got the 2 for cover. It just seems wrong that after placing my order they can change whatever they like. If that's the case why do they even have prices listed for their items?
