  2. First off. There was NEVER a TWD 1 Museum Edition approved or authorized. I can confirm this. Second. This is not a officially produced comic (Image Firsts, etc) inside a new cover. The interior of this book is a poorly printed fake. Third. How do I know this? I now have one in my possession.
  3. I commented. I'm more than credible. Story is false. 'Nuff Said. We'll post more soon. Getting more info. -shawn
  4. They are definitely not Image First copies with a new cover. I'll post pics when I get things sorted out on my side. -shawn
  5. Neither Brian or I are Image employees. We work for Skybound. -shawn
  6. Quick update for everyone. This book is a DEFINITE counterfeit. I have one in my possession. I do believe that the PGX seller had been duped by the original seller. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. -shawn
  7. This is a fun thread. Anyways, I've reached out to Ebay about the book. We'll see what they do. -shawn
  8. I've love to hear what you guys thought about the issue. When I read it a few weeks back, I had to take a pause at my desk before reading it again. I feel it was a pretty fantastic way to end the series.
  9. When I first heard about that page, my jaw dropped to the floor.
  10. It was a good thing for me. Though I feel there was definitely someone else from the boards bidding on the same items. -shawn
  11. While I was at NYCC, I went to the Metropolis Comics Gallery to see James' collection. The collection is jaw dropping. Some truly amazing pieces of comic art and graded books. It was also a privilege to meet James in person. We've been friends on the boards for a few years, and it was great to put a face to the name and shake his hand. A genuine good dude. -shawn
  12. Totally makes sense to wait and see how the market reacts on pricing. I'm sure it'll settle down. Definitely not the rarest variant out there, but your numbers aren't correct. As for there being a point to this, I'd say this is the most eyes/posts this thread has seen since the migration. -shawn
  13. No, the digital edition only has the pages from 171. Chuck was referring to people who stay up until midnight and read the digital version of a comic before they go tot he store to buy the physical copy on Wednesdays. They could be counted as some of the "biggest fans".
  14. Those 7 pages are the first 7 pages of issue 172. So they'll be available next month. -shawn
  15. During SDCC, I bought an Image Blind Box. I decided to do an unboxing video and we're auctioning off the contents PLUS a copy of Here's Negan on ebay with all the proceeds going to the CBLDF. Link to Auction Link to Video -shawn
  16. Hey MrWalkingDead. Your numbers are off regarding the TWD Day event. There were 10,000 copies at the event (I know because my team and I unloaded them from the truck in the brutal Kentucky heat). Fans started lining up for the book at 3pm the day before. So there was definitely a demand for the book. -shawn
  17. Hey All! If anyone is heading to SDCC, stop by the booth (2729) and say hello! Also, we're doing a signing with the Shiva Force cover artist Jason Edmiston on Thurs from 11-11:45a. It's a great time to get a sig on some books! -shawn
