Rawhide Kid #1 up for sale on ebay! One seller stated a movie is on the way in 2016. Is that true? I did not hear anything about that. He also stated that only 12 copies of this book are known to exist....which is a lie.
100% not true! Although as you mentioned I think the seller proved they aren't the most knowledgeable about the book by stating only 12 copies exist.
Further, there is no way Marvel would do a RHK movie before a TGK movie!

#5 - Wyatt takes cover standing behind a waist height pole and still doesn't get hit.

Frank you're on a KC binge!
How many more of those do you need for the set?
-
Mikey, seriously now 5 RHK17?
You need to cash in all those chips and get this 6.5 http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch%2Easp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3DRawhide%2BKid%26x%3D-140%26y%3D-646%26ItemType%3DCB&id=944951

Just for the heck of it, here it is again, tucked away in my group shot of Kirby Two Gun Kid books.
Your 60,61,62 run is awesome! I actually don't think I have ever seen a sharper 61,62.
Did you get the three together or randomly?

Just arrived in from England.
Scan doesn't do it justice, much whiter in hand.
-
ahhh so close, yet so far away

KirbyJack, are you looking to part with a TGK#58 cause I know 'someone' who is looking for one

You seriously have new stuff coming in every day, how are you able to hide it so well from the wife?

Anybody here have a lower grade copy of Rawhide Kid #1 or #3?
My father has been working on a run now for a few years and is down to those 2 issues so I'm trying to help him hunt them down. Please PM me if you have one or if you know any place I should look!
There is a Rawhide Kid #1 CGC 3.0 in this months Heritage Auction. http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=121336&lotNo=13382 Currently at $274 with a day and half to go.

If it makes you feel any better Brian, the ones I bought, I can assure you will be truly loved as part of my TGK collection.

Just a small taste of my RKs!
From memory don't you have your RHK#17 slabbed now?
Interesting - look at the three different 10¢ fonts! VARIANTS! VARIANTS, PEOPLE!I never noticed that before, you just opened up a whole new can of worms!
-
#53, not your sought after #83?
Anyway looks nice, clean white covers on early westerns are drying up fast.
-
Mikey, you still have all four or is that your timeline of upgrades?
-
This is THE silver age western key!
I have actually heard it described/referred to as the AF#15 of Westerns.
I know, perhaps that's going too far but I like the sound of it.

Just scanned my copy and went looking for the club but since one doesn't exist figured I'd just create one.
Who else has a membership copy?

#48 - Little Easter Egg: Gene Colan & George Klein had an issue with the editor at the time re: deadlines and what not. They left him a little descriptive "message" for him in the signage at the bottom.
I had never even noticed that before!

Hey Harvey, just looking at your 1-310 registry set and apart from the obvious keys and miller run just wondering where the other odds and ends fit in? Personal favs or just ones that pop up on the market? Any plans of tackling the 1-10?
-
Ahhh so you're the one who snagged that RHK#17, I was the other 'offerer'. However your scan shows it so much whiter/nicer than the sellers one did!!
Wish I had of jumped on it now although the bottom staple popped is a shame.

Original owner had 4 copies.
So as not to confuse which copy was which, he simply labelled them 1/4, 2/4, 3/4. 4/4.
and soooooooo begins your hunt for the remaining 3 copies you'll need to complete the set....

Picked up a DD #1 & #2 Australian version today.
These were printed in 1977, long after DD had made the switch from Yellow to Red so appears Australian printers simply decided to update his costume for him. Not sure Electro would dig losing his Green for Orange though.
Also Internal pages are black & white so 'Purple Man' is more like 'White Man'

Nice copy Mike, presents well and just happens to be my favourite book! All copies I have seen listed for sale recently have major water damage or pen writing all over them.
There needs to be a TGK#60 club! I assume almost all club members would have a double pass to the RHK#17 thread also.
