Well I haven't seen or heard of any others yet...not to say they don't exist. Could just be one weird error that nobody will care about. Was hoping to hear of a few others at least but so far, nada.

Hey all, In our shipment of Metal 3 this week we received one copy of what was supposed to be the embossed Metal version...without the embossing. It's just white. I know it's kind of hard to tell bet look at the comparrison of the regular embossed on the left, to the error on the right. Just one of these in our shipment. Wondering if anyone else has come across any of these like this???

It's basically one of the other variants in the box with the blank on top.

I tried to figure out how to find this person but the seller stopped responding to me earlier even before she left the negative for him. I did find the seller on Facebook as he's in a comic group I'm in.

My wife won it for me last night. Was super excited as its the last big variant I need for my run. Paid. Seller "shipped" this morning with tracking. Then she gets a bs message tonight stating that they were sorry. That They mistakenly sent it to another buyer with other books and that they had to sadly cancel her sale as the book is gone by error. Story made no sense. He had told her last night that he was getting a bunch of offers off eBay. I'm guessing one was too good to pass up as they decided to go with their bs story. Either way, scumbag moves across the board. I certainly hope it was nobody here on this board that ruined this sale for us...if it was...thanks a ton....

I agree with yogogolak if the mindset is to flip now. This book is a long term hold IMO. Not something to be dumped immediately. Campbell + Venom + 1:100 + time = no brainer

Being a retailer, I don't mind the occasional ratio variant. 1:25's on better selling titles...those are realistic numbers for 90% of comic shops to consider hitting depending on the variant. If I typically order 17-19 copies of a specific book and they offer a 1:25 variant that looks crappy, I don't bump my order. If it's a nice cover I might consider bumping the number of copies I get to obtain the variant knowing I can move that for a few bucks more. We are a decent size store in a small town in NJ. We are not Midtown. That's what this caters to. its ridiculous any way ya slice it.

. Either way it's absurd and a slap in the face to the large base of ASM collectors and shops everywhere. It is what it is though....

Just putting this out here to show the scumbag move Marvel is doing with ASM 25. Not only is there a 1:1000 variant but they raised the price from 3.99 to 9.99. As a shop owner myself, this is laughable and it seems Marvel has learned nothing from the past mistakes. Good luck to those who attempt to grab this....
