it makes perfect sense for them to do so. They were going to be sold at the con for a 5 or 10 dollar donation. The books on here went for a 20 dollar donation.

Manhattan Projects #1 second print at a really low print run (I think around 5,000) and the cover looks like an atomic bomb which is pretty neat. That is the only reason it is getting so much cash. the second print of #1 has the red sun disc of Japan and a torii (japanese gate).

Yes sir! You were one of the inspirations for me setting this up. I'm just happy I noticed the sales thread before they were all gone.

if they posted a sales thread on here they would make 10x the amount in donations.

Can't believe those books went for that price with those images. The first auction doesn't show the bottom left front corner of the book, nor does it show the corner from the back. And the other two auctions don't even have pics/scans of the back of the books. Crazy.

This was my first order from them, so I have no previous experiences on which to rate them. They actually had in stock what they say they did on their website, which is a rarity it seems among online stores. Think I've had at least 10 orders cancelled in the past few weeks from various sites because they were out of stock on stuff they had listed as being in stock. Probably won't order from them again though, as I would rather not have to get my books shipped from Canada. Also yes their free shipping seems rather disingenuous. As they sell you more books under the disguise of giving you free shipping.

Just got a package from Comics America. All of the books were stacked together with the flaps taped together. Flaps are all torn now. Ouch! You would think they would know better. I really can't complain, the books they sent are flawless.

What service are you planning to use? FT is usually close to on schedule but you'll have conventions to work against so probably mid-March I'd expect? If you don't FT them you could probably start looking for them around July. Well I was planning on using fast track, but if one of my books turns out to be valued at over 200 (Panzerfaust #1), then wouldn't that put it into a different tier and take longer?

so if I ship 5 modern books out on Monday, around how long am I looking at before they show up again at my front door?
