  1. Jan 30 coupon submission (4 books) went to scheduled for grading today....
  2. "There may be other comic books that we cannot certify. Exclusion of an item from this text does not guarantee certification. Please remember that no floating items can be encapsulated with the comic book (i.e. Certificates of Authenticity's, Pedigree COA's, free-floating 3-D glasses, poly-bags). Poly-bagged comics must be taken out of the poly-bag before being graded."
  3. Remove bag, don't submit poster. They won't do it otherwise, and if you send in poster you will not get it back.
  4. Complete, but a few were cut a little jagged and crooked, as these seem to be.
  5. Two old ones my LCS had today on new comic book day!
  6. Thanks! Here is a link for the plastic stands, which also hold CGC books fine. I imagine they are intended for brochures and booklets for sales literature, but they work great for this. This company shipped my original 25 out right away, but one arrived broken, and they replaced it no problem. http://www.beemak.com/c15_p1382/counter_top_slant_back_book_or_magazine_holder.html
  7. And with gold so high, it is probably actually worth something! An Onslaught 22K gold cover! That was the one book (well, technically two) I hoarded throughout the years before I came back to the hobby.
  8. Lots of great wall space to hang your treasures! That is one thing I do not have.
  9. Marty, since you must be close to 80, why have none of the grandchildren or great grandchildren been after all these books of yours! My kids ask about mine, but not because they are interested in anything but what they might be worth! And I don't have grandkids yet!
  10. I figured the Spidey was distributed AFTER they had a bunch left over from the mail order.., and Tekno Comics did not last long, but it seems to be a real steel cover-- much thicker than the foil covers on anything else. It will actually bend and hold a crease. I have 3- the other two were damaged in shipping.
  11. What about these two? The Spider-Man was mail order, and so was the Teknophage. And the mailing of Teknophage was in plain manila envelopes like a magazine so most of them were creased down the middle of the metal front cover.
  12. I am a big fan of sketch covers! well, any variant really...... great books!
  13. All of these came safely in one box today by UPS! Working on my '10.0's'......
  14. The dreaded scotch tape! Faded but still ok.
  15. MM has inspired me to dig out a few more. I am new to scanning as well!
  16. I think the Smilin Jacks are CGC worthy for sure, not sure about WW.
  17. The Smilin Jacks are #3, flames cover, #7, propeller cover.
  18. Enjoyed reading this thread, MM! Had a few to add....
  19. Practicing with new scanner, HP Scanjet G4050. No 9.8's of this book yet!
  20. They will also take UPS. "Our street address is 5501 Communications Parkway Sarasota Fl 34240. The only thing you need to do to use your companies UPS account is to write their UPS account number on the paper work and ask that we send that overnight to you. "
