  1. First: Paypal only Payment within 24 hours No international Shipping is free No returns Brand new, sealed, in original box. These Artist Editions are beautiful. From the the publisher: "Featuring an outstanding sampling of Big John Buscema's classic stories, covers, and interior pages from the mid 1960s to the late '70s, all in the groundbreaking and multi-Eisner Award-winning Artist's Edition format!Buscema was a true "artist's artist," his stellar anatomy, coupled with dynamic storytelling, made him one of the most revered and respected artists in the Marvel Pantheon. This volume will contain several complete stories (including Avengers and Sub-Mariner), plus incredible examples of art from his runs on Avengers, Fantastic Four, Thor, Sub-Mariner, and more. There will be a gallery section chock full of covers. And, as with all Artist's Editions, all the art in this book has been scanned from Buscema's originals, enabling thereader to be able to clearly view each page as never before-clearly seeing pencils, editorial notations, ink gradients, more-all the little details and nuances that makes original art unique. Unless you were looking over John Buscema's shoulder in his studio, you'll never have a better opportunity than this to see his artwork as it truly looks!BONUS-This book will feature several foldouts presenting a number of Buscema's early, larger covers at full size-a true treat for art lovers!" $125 Thanks!
  2. Great question. When did this book go so nuts? I have a 9.8, always pegged it at $2k...and was happy.
  3. 12 mo GPA is $5100, last sale in January is $4800 https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fdefault.asp%3F_SORT%3DYES%26returning%3D1%26returning%3D1%26Focused%3D1%26f1%3Darp%26ODire1%3DDESC%26f2%3Di.title%2Ci.IssueNumber%26ODire2%3DASC%26f3%3Darp%26ODire3%3DDESC%26pg%3D2%23Item_1539703&id=1539703&itemType=0
  4. Possibly. Or some funny business is going on. I'm leaning towards funny business.

  7. Thanks man, for some reason didn't see that listing. Good thing is, pages look MUCH better than those.
  8. Hey guys, Need a little help on the value of a coverless JIM83 that's also missing a page from the "When the Jungle Sleeps" story. Thor story is complete. Actual comps are non-existent, and GPA data is sparse. Would love to hear some thoughts, see if we can't come to some kind of consensus. Or at least argue a bit Thanks!
  9. Based on your posts, you'd have no problem if dealers passed that charge on to you as a surcharge. After all, you've done just as well in this time as dealers and CGC. Right?
  10. I think you guys are all forgetting Dazzler #1. Top 3 book, easy, as soon as she's in the MCU.
  11. I guess Black Cat is important enough to have 7 pages debating if she's important, so there's that.
  12. You will never not be grendelbot to me now.
  13. Looks like someone thought the CGC cases were UV protection coated
  14. Something so satisfying about matching grades...
  15. I've bought exactly 1 book from CC/CL/Heritage. Maybe 2, 3 max on eBay. Others have come from here, IG/FB, or walking into my shop.
  16. Nothing at the end. 9.4 went up $2k. Boring!
  17. I'm sure many of you got this email today: "Greetings Bidders & Consignors, Having established the previous two records at $240,000 and $245,000, ComicConnect just announced anew world record sale of a highest-graded copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.8 at $250,000. “This is the most important comic published in the last forty years and stands as a cornerstone of pop culture today,” explained Vincent Zurzolo, COO, and co-founder of the New York City auction house. “Eastman and Laird transformed what was an inside joke into a media juggernaut and merchandising machine with scores of comic titles and team-ups, movies, tv shows, spin-offs, reboots, and sequels.” Published in 1984 originally as a parody of Frank Miller’s Ronin, the X-Men, and a splash of Teen Titans, the comic features the first appearance of the Turtles, their Master, Splinter, and the teen team’s arch-nemesis, Shredder. “Three generations of fans have grown up with and absolutely love the turtles,” Zurzolo continued. “While the $250,000 sale is impressive, I’m sure it will only be a short time before this record, too, is broken.” ComicConnect’s current auction features a copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.8 as well as a CGC 9.4, a CGC 9.2 (second printing), and a special edition sixth printing CGC 8.0. The books are part of a massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles auction with final bidding on December 14 at 8:15 PM EDT."
  18. That all depends on if they expect you to pay
