  1. Early 90's were my sweet spot, and I LOVED Cable. Loved. He was right there with Bats and Wolverine for me. I thought Deadpool was cool, but no where near those guys.
  2. ygogolak is correct. There have been a ton of sells for raw NM #86's lately. * Most are double digits as well.
  3. You're welcome to your opinion of what "counts" and what doesn't, but that doesn't seem to have a relation to actual sales. Are you saying NM #86 is spiking? One CGC sale in the past three months on EBay, and it was a 9.4. Four 9.8 sales of UXM #201 in the past three months, and the avg price is $73.00. Not everyone buys graded books, heck, most don't. The rumor of Cable came out Feb. 10, since then 43 copies, raw & graded have sold on eBay. I would say that is a "spike", No matter price, it's a volume spike. Also, where are you getting your data? There are 6 CGC sales in that time frame I provided. P.S., there is one before NMM 86 that ain't doing too shabby either. Where you agree with it as an "appearance" is inconsequential to the conversation. Absolutely agree 100%, shoot 101%. http://comics.gocollect.com/most-active

  5. Deadpool has a Secret File in the back of X-Force #1, I believe.
  6. NM #86 does not count as a Cable appearance. It's an ad. I can see UXM #201, but it has never latched on with collectors.
  7. Hopefully we won't have to wait for the last episode. This...
  8. Batman #357 keeps creeping up. One on ComicLink is over $600 already.
  9. Also of interest about how "hot" he was - Marvel had actually forwarded that mail on to me. I had thought they had sent me a washer or a dryer. I thought, "I'm getting some awesome gift from Marvel!" But it was all the mail from "New Mutants" #98. My editors said, "Rob, can we fast-track Deadpool? This is the most mail we've seen on a character in 15 years. People love him." It's why Deadpool is a trading card with "X-Force" #1, and a Fact File, and why he is the first 12 pages of "X-Force" #2. "X-Force" #1 is the second best-selling comic of all time; it sold five million copies. You have to ask yourself, "Why does the second issue begin with Deadpool for 12 pages?" Because the fans demanded it.

  10. From Liefeld - http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/rob-liefeld-looks-back-deadpools-real-secret-origin They let me introduce Cable, and "New Mutants" #87 has eleven new characters in the first issue. It is like we showcased all new villains and this powerful new character that was designed to take over the book and transform it. And our sales went boom! We went up twenty-five thousand, and then we went up fifty thousand, and then in no time, we were at half-a-million.
  11. He destroys those guys in the beginning of that new trailer. DESTROYS.
  12. Yep,this is going to be huge. Most non-comic book people I know are more looking forward to Suicide Squad, than BVS! I agree. I have friends who have never read a comic talk to me about this movie. That last trailer did it.
  13. Yelp. Can't wait to pick up #33 Wednesday. Also I figured since I have singles of 1-32 that I would start on the CGC 9.8 run for collection purposes. I'm in no rush to complete it because I know it will be a pretty penny. Don't start!!!! It never stops!!!
  14. I think the Joker will be flashbacks only to Harley's earlier life. But I could be wrong. On the real 'big bad' of the movie... Well poo.
  15. Been thinking about this.... I think maybe the Joker is the big bad of the movie... He is never shown with the team, and only with Harley in flashbacks. It also looks like he may be in the skyscraper in some scenes that the Squad is later shown shooting up. If this has been brought up before, I apologize. Just some random thoughts I had while watching the trailer again.
