Sharon is probably one of the most respected and loved members. She is a kind, sweet, caring woman. She should be treated with the utmost respect, she has NEVER picked a fight here and generally is the first to offer ANYBODY help. She is very guarded by all here, I refer to her as the forum mother. She is all class though, and should be spoken to and treated like a lady. She should absolutely be treated with respect as all women should.

Can I suggest not buying from brand-new sellers who need the help of the PGM forum to grade their books? sound advice. I don't feel like playing Blowie at the moment. Who was the seller? I am, I sold her Silver Surfer #1 and she doesn't like that it has a spine split. I didn't notice a spine split on it but I know there was a defect with the spine at the bottom just like there are defects on the cover. I posted scans and linked to the PGM thread in the sales thread so everyone could get an idea of it's grade. I had an issue on eBay where I graded it based on my opinion and the seller said it was worse in his opinion. That caused a huge issue so from then on, I do not grade raws. I will say if it is in a decent condition and post pictures of it to let people judge for themselves. I originally bought it for $200. I was thinking about getting it restored and graded but thought that would cost too much so I tried selling it on here for $200. jsilverjanet offered $175 and I took it. I offered her $100 back for it now because that would be more affordable for me to get it restored and graded. I do not want to spend $175 on it and I already lost $25 on it plus the cost of shipping it to her to begin with. I'm not sure how much you paid and what you'll be out if you restore the book is relevant here but missing a 1/3 spine split is a big deal and greatly affects the grade. No offense but if you can't grade raws yourself you probably shouldn't be selling them. Especially on a forum like this with so many experts.

For me this is spot on! I really enjoyed this episode and may be one of my favorites.

Or you could just say "maybe I was wrong about the whole dad situation" Why would he? There is no proof his dad had any dealings with his online business here. Go back and read the initial exchange between those two ( if it hasn't been poofed ) and then ask me that question. It's still there it hasn't been poofed (yet) So my question still stands. And he's right IMO there is nothing to be gained by proving if the father was involved with his online dealings here. It would only prove he is a bad father who needs some help himself. We will probably never know how much the father was truly involved. His father said he monitored all his email exchanges. So he was at least aware of what was going on to some degree. I agree his father was probably involved to some degree but the point is nothing could or will be gained by proving this. Your original question was why would JS admit he was wrong to AR when there was no proof about his dad. Now you're saying that there's nothing to be gained by proving it. I don't know about you, but this is starting to make me a little I guess I see the bigger point to what JS was trying to say. And yeah this is making me a little

All I can say is I hope this kid learns from all of this, I pray he see's how truly wrong his actions are and makes the necessary steps to do right by those affected.
