There's much more to this story than what has been posted. I for one feel like I've been taken to the cleaners but I'm waiting to hear back from the seller before any further action is taken. The OP is the first to speak up publicly about what has been going on and for that I thank you. Hopefully Jason will do what he's always done and make things right. I don't however think broken promises are probation worthy, the original MB's purchased for the most part I believe have been shipped. The value of said MB's is an entire different story. I think you're misinterpreting his "done". You were looking ifor a 9.8 copy and when he initially contacted you the book was still at CGC and hadn't yet had the grade finalized. His "done" meant the grading was complete, it is in fact a 9.8, and is now on it's way to MCS. "done" meant that he was covered. I hold the books outside of the MCS system until the buyer is able to purchase. Then I list and they buy. It is highly unlikely that someone else would be watching for that book at that time at that price. But it is POSSIBLE for someone else to purchase the book.

When I list a book on MCS there is a delay so you really only see he book if I provide the link. I usually arrange a time and sell the book. There is always a chance something will not work but if the book is priced at FMV it tends to sit for a bit after it is available. Did you explain this to Retro?

I know who you're speaking of and have had similar issues. I've stopped buying from for those reasons. Hopefully he corrects the issues promptly

it's a shame his original sales thread was locked then poofed. I'm certain that he didn't mention a presale (though sometimes sellers won't) but i do remember him specifically not listing the label (which was a concern). Did anyone ask if he had it in hand? I don't remember if it was asked And to me that is a great question. Was it assumed to be in hand? What would a "common man" assume when he sees for sale ad on the internet? Exactly how I feel, well said. He's been on my ignore list for a long time after posting a "take it" but never replied to PM's nor paid for the book. I have no evidence to support this as I've long deleted the pm thread. In here or anywhere his actions shows his true character.
