My wallet could do with the holiday. Good chance to catch up on my registry set.

I have Revival #1 - 8 all first prints in NM condition (not CGC though). Should I try to get rid of them now or hold on to them? It looks like the prices have been dropping. Are they not getting a tv show anymore? NBC not work out?

 

I'm sorry, but I just haven't seen any news about it. I've heard about the ABC copycat, but I have not seen any news links about the NBC project going defunct. I have only heard about it from other people, never seen it confirmed.

 

Just trying to get everything lined up.

1-8 raw is about $80 worth of comic books. I wouldn't be too eager to sell them, TV show or not.

Either way, you won't be getting rich off Revival. If you enjoy the story, keep them in your collection. If not, sell 'em.

Does that make a total of two variants? Or have I missed a few announcements?

Yeh really happy with it... He signed them for my LCS last year. Put it up next to my Revival signed bookplate.

Looking forward to finding out the fate of my favourite lie detecting feline this week.

half a dozen cruddy store with no $1 bins in a City of 6,000,000 people.

Comics are $5+ at cover because of dumbazz taxes so we HAVE to pre-order, or there is no option other than ebay.

Revival,Bedlam,Peter Panzerfaust and now Uber are books that I thought would/will do well - so I (and James etc) have to pre-order or it $30 an issue within days.

 

I don't find comic prices is Aus too bad, a $2.99 US book is $4.50 where I shop. But I have a pull list with the shop, so I have no problems with getting 5 copies of Revival every month, an the other 2 copies of other Image and Dark Horse titles I get.

 

If I want 10 copies of a #1 I order online.

 

But there isn't really that many LCS in Aus, and if you don't live in a Capital city then your only choice to get new titles is ebay.

The lack of quality LCS is the problem in Australia. Only really two decent ones in Sydney, I have a pull list with one of them. Usually just pull two of an issue I'm really keen on and then get more preordered online from TFAW...

9.8s are for us mere mortals.

You can still get 1 & 2 at cover on eBay... If not, its pretty close to cover...

if you click the sold, all of them were before the price raise, hasnt sold any yet at that price point.

Image #1 - $45.....$60 (+$15) although I have sold 3 for over $75 this week.

 

Phantom #1 - $62......$42 (-$20)

 

NYCC #1 $60.......$75 (+$15) again I sold 1 this week for $90.

Detroit (-$7) and Third eye (-$2) steady (but still down) on low sales.

 

Draw your own conclusions.

 

 

Looks like sticking with the regular verison is the way to go.
