  1. Just got around to opening my package from DF that had Bedlam #1 in it

CGC used the thicker case on this, and the book is just sliding all over the place inside the slab.

My #1 is the same but they managed to get the NYCC variant in the thin case and it sits nicely. Wouldn't they be the same book thickness?

  2. Just read the first three issues and waiting for #4 to download on the DH app.

    :golfclap: + :whee:

    :headbang:

I've read 1-7 today, will read 8 tonight and then the hunt begins to put together a raw run for myself.

Only downside to finding a gem like this is my need to own the singles.

  3. im going to have to break down and pick up the TPB

Might work to your benefit - I find its the type of comic that reads better when you read 3-4 of them at a time...

This is true of just about any book. I often save up books for 2-3 months to read several at a time.

True - I just find that with most books i read I like to go back and read the last issue again first, with MP I feel i need to go back at least 2 issues.

  4. If I can get my hands on a 9.8 ghost I would sell of 8 out of the 10 that I have

eBay sucks for saga slabs there is like 6 of them on there and 5 are #1s lol

Couple of 2nd and 5th prints but no 1st prints of 3-9. I know there is a #2 first

Print, but I'm not spending 23 bucks shipping from Canada

I'm trying to get together a 9.8 candidate of #2-#8 to submit myself for slabbing, because

    A. There are none on eBay

    B. Hoping it will work out cheaper

Currently have two complete sets of raws and half of a third set - should be able to get at least one 9.8 per issue together...

  5. Flipping through back issues today at my LCS looking for the 2nd print Saga #7 that I've told myself isn't needed on my last two visits and I came across 2 x Revival #1 first print and 1 x 4th print...

    Got them 10% below cover.

They don't even have first prints of issue 5 left on the shelf... Weird.

  6. Got my copies from Chapel Hill today and wow!...great copies. Flawless :applause:

I got two copies of ToT #1 in excellent condition from them last spring. Highly recommended dealer.

    +1 - nice guys.

Great recommendation - just jumped on to their site and got a few #3 first prints... Great prices too considering the demand ATM

  7. For me, if you're a store (online or not) that buys direct from a supplier you should stick with cover price. You shouldn't start going through your back issues and adjusting - that's the charm of a comic store - finding gems at cover price.

Resellers can charge whatever they want as they're matching the market trends, but if you bought in bulk at cost price from the supplier - sell it at cover.

Just my thoughts, would prob think differently if I owned a store...

I would push again for one set at listed price and money back for the rest.
