I imagine the satisfaction of getting 9.8s back that you've subbed yourself is pretty good compared to paying a premium on eBay. The wait would be torture though. Planning to do my first ever submission next week. Let you all know how it goes in May/June.

YES!!! I pre-ordered it a while back! Awesome! That sounds fantastic! I'm planning on reading this series in collections and love that they've gone straight to HC From what I've read, there are some cool elements to the single issues that won't be in the collections. Plus I love the paper stock of the singles - it's like uncoated, recycled stock.

Not a wise move! R_H Thats how I ended up with two of them - trying to make sure I didnt miss out given how quick they all ended. Pretty happy with it though - will be keeping both.

I got 2 x 9.8 #2 last week for $40 each - there were quite a few on ebay.

Remember when? Being late to the Saga party, it seems beyond belief to me that RRPs sold at these prices. $40!!!

Went to my LCS and picked up at cover: 2 x #2 2 x #3 1 x #4,#6,#7,#8 and #0 Almost a run for my collection - just need #5 & #1

It's no big deal I guess - not planning on putting it in a backpack and running a marathon. I guess the concern is that a 9.8 stays a 9.8 and doesn't get dinged with the movement. The way the inner casing is designed now the corners don't touch anything anyways.

True the oily look isn't great, but on your thicker slabs do the books move? My Bedlam 1 moves quite freely...
