  1. Wondering if a boardie had the winning bid...
  2. Not unless it has motor oil smeared across the back cover - then its worth $399
  3. $40/$45/$50 all declined. I fold.
  4. Just need a #5 first print to complete my registry of first prints. The family is almost all together...
  5. Got #1-#6 plus plenty of the variants ready to go into the registry, but the registry isn't ready for me...
  6. I put a bid in last night but the max bid outbid me twice. Figure someone has a pretty high bid on it already...
  7. Picked up a #1 2nd print today. Anyone know if the 3rd print is out yet? TFAW says May 15 but I never saw any on the shelves...
  8. To add to my last post - if I had 40 NM copies of Saga #1 I would hold on to them just so I can look at them and smile. Or trade a stack of them for an RRP...
  9. This off season have been great as a collector. #2 9.8 blue was going for $100 - $120 a few months ago, now there are quite a few listed between $50-$75 BIN.
  10. If I had a 9.8 of the EoW RRP, I'd be hesitant to let it go for less than $300. In fact, I wouldn't let it go for less. As BeerThirty said, if it doesn't sell, then so be it.
  11. The only piece of Saga OA in existence. I'd hold it for a while. At least till #13 comes out and prices go back up.
  12. I prefer the Forbidden Planet cover, and probably the Ghost cover over the RRP. Still want one though...
  13. Nice! I wish it was the rrp cover I'd love to have a framed print of the RRP on my wall. I'd love to have an RRP...
  14. Hey Ryan. Blanks were at cover so I couldn't resist. If nothing else, blanks usually give you a copy of a book that will have no spine ticks or LCS handling damage to the regular cover underneath. Its like getting a regular cover boarded at the supplier.
  15. I got one in the mail today thanks to fellow boardie, sakbee. Number 194/200. Now to get it framed. Thanks sakbee!
  16. Picked up two blank covers today as my LCS still had 10 or so. So ended up with two blanks and a sketch in total for this title, the multitude of other covers scared me off collecting any more.
  17. Phew! Glad I'm not the only one...
  18. ...No takers on this? Looks like War to me, not sure about the character below.
  19. So much effort must have gone in for Matt to sketch each of those. What a travesty to just mail them out in a bubble mailer.
  20. Death killed the pres because the pres tried to kill him. C, W and F killed the next in line until a they found someone who would continue on with the former presidents plans. C, W and F are not aligned with Death and do not have the same motives. In issue one, you see C, W and F as adult horsemen surrounding Death while some of the chosen look on. Looks like its everyone in this book vs Death, Crow and Wolf.
  21. There are only four horsemen of the Apocalypse: Death: still an adult Conquest, War and Famine: the three children. C, W and F were killed and have come back reborn. Death is still alive as an adult and has formed his own posse with the Wolf and the Crow.
  22. NICE pick ups. And just picked up a #9 for $39 from one of the better sellers I've encountered on eBay. I might even be able to complete the run before #13 comes out.
  23. Has it been mentioned yet that this will not be on Comixology for three months? Mark Millar has asked that it only be made available digitally 3 months after print release to encourage print sales.
  24. Same - just went with a sketch and left the rest.
