With modern comics you have to flip quick. There are exceptions to the rule but we all know it will die down. Take a look at Justice League #12. You can now pick them up in a $1 bin. The number of people who post in ratio to the number of people that read this site, is about 1:5 it's the other 5 times as many people I am mostly preaching too. But, there are also lots of newer people here as well, and they want to be a part of every action they can get in on. As the song says, you gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them. Ive never received a comic that was less than NM from midtown

f I was in a position where I actually needed to worry about paying my bills then obviously I wouldn't be spending my rent money on bundled paper that I will never read And I still do not own a single phantom variant yet. I don't buy every hyped up mediocre variant available.

Bedlam is a great series to go for variants on though since the variants are easier to obtain. I've had to shell out around $150 for each of the three variants of the series I've committed to.... And its only on issue 3
