  1. Eric paid promptly and communicated EXACTLY what he wanted. No beating around the bush or haggling of sorts. Just what anyone on the forums would want. I was very pleased to make a deal with him and I am confident that you all would have the same experience.

    Thanks! :hi:

  2. Ive worked with Elmer on a large complete series deal. He communicated very well, we kept in touch, and in the series of events that turned, we had a successful business transaction despite international shipping problems.

Coming from someone who never really ships beyond the continent, I woudn't hesitate to do business with Elmer again and I look forward to continue working with him.

  3. Tyler ships like hes protecting the planets last hope. I swear, I literally thought the shipment was created by the mightiest of USPS legends. We negotiated a great trade on some books and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I would hope to trade books again in the near future and I would forward this same recommendation to any boardies (new/old) to make the same effort.

  4. sold some iron man books and the communication with Chris was easy and followed through. as much as I regret selling my hulk buster, I do believe it is in the rightful owners new hands as is the destiny of an iron man armor hoarder.

new to boards and is already doing a great job. Thanks again Chris!

  5. If I ever win the lottery, i'm buying every copy of those slabs that come in too many 9.8s and taking them all out to send the labels back to CGC just to lower the census.

Too many 9.8s for issues like TWD1, NM98, IH181. If you ever watched the Jet Li movie "the one" you'll know what happens next.

Otherwise, like what many have already said before in this thread. Addittionally, if there were ever an environmental hazard (fire, earthquake, etc.) I would rather carry 100 unslabbed copies than 100 cgc slabs out the door.

  6. This is like those car dealerships that put stickers on the back and plates on the front of vehicles to advertise (for free) their business.

My mom bought a Camry a year ago. The vehicle was test drove without a plate or holes for the screws on the front. When she went to close the deal they had screwed a plate through the plastic holes on the front bumper. It was a deal breaker and they had to fix it prior to the deal being finalized.

I understand why businesses do this too. I guess they figure 99% of everyone won't even blink and some people will learn about their business through this type of advertising. Pizzing off a few customers in the process (and in the minority) is a small prize to pay.

I was just about to say this. CARMAX
