  1. Why the red ink? I find it really bad. Sigs should be in black or silver ink.

I like the red better than the plain black.

I got mine signed last year at NYCC in gold ink, and I think they look pretty cool! In fact I sold a couple copies here a few weeks ago...

I like how the red ink looks too!

I haven't seen any gold...it sounds pretty cool

  2. that was a mess!

4 different stories trying to fit into 45 minutes & the ending was WEAK beyond belief

Not picking on you, but I meant to ask this earlier and forgot.

For people that thought the episode sucked, what would have made it "great"?

Not killing off Andrea just as her character was developing so nicely. (shrug)

Governor hunting down Andrea was the best episode of the entire series hands down IMO.

Season 3 should have ended with Andrea (she escapes without that bite) rejoining the Rick and others with a pre-battle warmup against the Governor. Governor loses the battle, but captures Michonne.

Rick calls a meeting says to group, "We need to prepare for a war."

Governor ends the season with Michonne tied up in the torture chair. He closes the door with an evil smile on his face.

Season 3 ends with Walking Dead books now in more demand than ever.

(sigh) If Game of Thrones was a comic book first like Walking Dead was then that issue of #1 would be selling at 5K in CGC 9.8. I just can't get over how much better GoT is in comparison with all others shows in recent memory I have ever seen before on TV, Lost and Walking Dead are good, but pales in comparison in my eyes.

Winter is over, but last night WINTER HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN!! (evil laugh hahahaha)

So the finale would have been great if everything that happened the week before with Andrea and the Governor would have happened the same way during the finale, except with Michonne now in Andrea's place? You described last week's episode almost exactly how it happened to Andrea...

Andrea escaped and tried to make it to the prison.

    The governor got her.

Rick told his group to prepare for a war.

It ended with the Governor having Andrea tied up in the torture chair.

  3. Pretty much ! I honestly feel I haven't done anything wrong

Why didn't you bring up the issue of the other guy paying all the postage for both sides of the trade before you both agreed to do the deal?

Also, what does "banned from advertising for 6 months" mean?

I think the buyer assumed the postage was included in the price. Then when the seller started talking about the shipping, it became clearer that it wasn't included. That's when the buyer started talking about the shipping.

I'm not sure about the banned thing, though.

  4. Pretty much ! I honestly feel I haven't done anything wrong

I'd have to agree. I will admit I don't know every single rule since I'm fairly new, but if a deal was agreed on, then re-agreed on, the seller shouldn't be able to back out. If he does, and he is nominated for probation, then he shouldn't be able to give a retaliatory nomination to the buyer.

  5. Can someone highlight or summarize please. :)

    Seller agreed on $150 plus a SS1.

Buyer agreed to that as well, postage included.

Seller contacted buyer saying that he wasn't going to pay full shipping since the buyer was getting a great deal.

Buyer and seller went back and forth until agreeing for the postage price.

Seller contacted buyer claiming someone told him his sell thread/trading was a no-no. Seller said he had been banned from adverts. Then the seller cancelled the deal.

Buyer said he would report the seller to probation if the deal was cancelled, and then the seller said he would do the same to the buyer.

That's what I got from it.

  6. It's clear to me that the purchaser thought it was a variant, as he used a different cover. It's up to the buyer to do research before bidding this up. Whatever happened, I see a refund happening soon one way or the other.

Ahhh I see. The seller didn't even say "Stock Image" in the description.

  7. Nobody commented on the fact that the auction ended around $100?

The person driving the price up

Bid activity (%) with this seller: 59%

But the guy who actually won for $91 only has 4% with this seller. Shill or not, somebody paid $91 for it.

What happens if a shill wins the auction?
