I'll gladly swap an 87 for a 98 even if (really big if) 87 goes through the roof. Deadpool is the man

Man, I get ultra busy with work, and don't check the site for a few weeks, and all of a sudden there's some Canada-US thing going on??? I'll have to go read to see what this is all about. This is almost as disquieting as Jerry Jones dismantling my Cowboys.
Props to a fellow Cowboys fan! (thumbs u
Cowboys!
Boooooooo! I do have to hand it to Jerry Jones, his teams always find new ways to choke and he makes Al Davis look like a member of Mensa
-
add Voice In the Dark to that list as well

I had a " stack" of 7 Ottleys. I'm down to 2 which are my keepers
-
This is impressive.
My BS detector is very impressed. Curious to see what the next 1 or 2 go for after this one

2nd printing of #5 on the way. Hope they do a different cover this time around
-
Fuuuuuuudge I sold my extra sets way too early on this book for sure.

Covers like that is what I've been missing since AOW began. The AOW covers look cluttered and don't pop, along with the washed out look of TWD logo lately

Read it again, I just think that while Dwight hates Negan, he realizes that following Negan and staying with The Saviors is his only option.
The rest of the Saviors see Dwight as just a lackey and wouldn't ever accept him as their leader, and most of them won't turn on Negan no matter what.
Rick and crew sure as hell aren't going to welcome Dwight with open arms, so whether the arrow was coated or not, Dwight knows where his place is. Ever hate your boss and stay at that job anyway?
-
Whether the arrow was dipped in zombie gunk or not, it could still do serious damage. Personally, I don't think Dwight has enough balls to turn on Negan

Just got home from the LCS w/ WD in hand and WHOA WHOA EFFIN WHOA!!!!

Not sure if this is new or not, but it seems Amazing Spider Man 606 (Black Cat cover), and 607 keeps going up in price. Completed sales on ebay over $25 already. Anybody notice any other Marvel moderns like this rise in value?
those have been getting those prices for quite awhile now, but one i never see mentioned much is asm 601. that book is starting to sell over 30 pretty regularly now too, but it never gets as much attention as all the black cat covers for some reason.
it is reaching iconic cover status imo, and only getting more popular, you see tons of cosplayers recreating that cover now.
Yes, 606 & -07 have been hot for a while. I have been grabbing any 50-52 / 490-92 & 601 I can find as well. They are all J. Scott Campbell covers which is part of the appeal.
611 w/Deadpool and 640 Women of Marvel Variant are good ones too.
New Mutants Annual #2 CGC 9.8 SSx3 Stan Lee, Claremont & Davis! 1st Psylocke!$405 w 13 bids

This book has been hot. I consider captain Britain #8 to be her first appearance though.
Copper books. NM Annual #2 is the 1st US printed appearance and Britain #8 is hard to find and usually out of the price range of modest collectors.
So Britain 8 is the first appearance?
CB #10 is her first cover appearance and can be had really cheap. A little aside if you liked the 1st Uncanny X-Force series, Jamie Braddock 1st appeared in CB #9

If my 6 year old niece starts asking about Big Hero 6, I may hold onto one
-
Sunfire & The Big Hero 6 #1 $25-$30 range. It's the real 1st appearance of the team, 2 months before Alpha Flight Vol 2 #17. Disney animated movie coming in November

4th printing of #1 is out today, same cover, same colors. Has to be a very very low print run. Worth picking up a few
-
I'll have to get one for my "death of" collection: Phoenix, Elektra, Captain America, Human Torch, Robin, Robin, Thanos, Adam Warlock, Adam Warlock, Adam Warlock

Picked this up today, Omega The Unknown #1, page 22 by Farel Dalrymple from the 2007-08 reboot. I love how the last panel is almost identical to the original 1976 series. If you're a Dalrymple / Omega fan and in or near Philly, Locust Moon has a bunch of his pages

I posted a while back about 2 different colored covers of Preacher #61, I finally dug them out and took a picture. The difference isn't subtle at all, like just one shade lighter, it's vastly different to where it looks like a variant cover. It's not sun faded, I got it in a well preserved collection. Any info?..
Could be any number of things.
*Difference in Storage
*Printed at 2 difference facilities
*Printing press running low on ink
*Printed in multiple batches, and nobody bothered to re-check the colour samples
*You bought a bootleg copy from the Richmond Night Market
looks like the one on the left might have been used as a window display.
Unless you have more than one copy of the one on the left, I think its sun damage.
Yeah that would be it, because the ink on the backs are the same and I just noticed a thin line of yellowing on the top of the 1st page. Duhhhh. I'm keeping it, I like the way it looks and the logo isn't messed up or anything. Thanx for pointing out the obvious to me haha

Had no clue about that Elephantmen. Thanks.

Hit up a comic shop in the boonies this afternoon, first time I've been there since it was a good 45 minute drive, but whoa! The Manifest Destiny #1's, Annihilators #3 and Elephantmen #18 were still on the rack for cover price
-
Remember the letter's column in ASM 359 had a picture of the cover of 361 hyping it up. Made sure I bought 25 copies right off the bat, and was getting $20 a pop at shows when the book was only 2 months old. Those were the pre-ebay days

I kept buying #1s at several shops until they ran out. Some got no variants, and a couple got more variants than the regular covers
-
I looked for a #13 today at my lcs...nope. But they had 12 and 14
Got another #13 last week for $4 at a shop that should know better. Seems like the further away from the city I go, the more I'm finding them. I love having a car

How is it different from a Phantom, Ghost or Eh variant? It's still approved by Norton and Seeley isn't it?
