Wonder what the news is that is teased on the letter page?
It might be as banal as a McFarlane toy line or it could be ... I don't want to jinx myself. Let's hope for the best! He doesn't tend to throw lines like that out there in letters columns unless he's serious.

Oh, a time jump. Didn't this JUST happen in The Walking Dead. Ugh.
I loved it. The dad in me had some serious feels.

Perhaps GIJOEISAWESOME has reawakened
All he wanted was for you to sell him your MOS 18s

I think Captain America #25 will go up in value after Civil War.
Doubt it. I predict Disney pulls a fast one on us & has Tony Stark be assassinated instead.
I just figured they wouldn't kill him at all and replace him with Bucky.
Stark going down makes sense, especially with Downey's contract "annoyances"

Great seller-
I bought an Invincible #1 CGC 9.8 for a fair price, and it was shipped super fast and with care. Buy with confidence!

Holy cow!
Reboot Part 2 was great. This book is hitting all the right strides

Genuine questions an I also have not watched WD trends closely.
Does the market not get too crowded and level out/decline when new characters air on the show?
This may differentiate from character to character however and the likes of Negan may be the exception but overall does the spec crowd not wind up hurting the highs on TV show spec books come air time due to those who get in panic mode and undercut with lower and lower BINS's in addition to the amount of people waiting for said time? I don't know the amount of impulse buyers for WD related characters who wind up on the show.
If yes at all then is it not the best bet to sell as the hype is trending upward rather than hoping on a greater payout in the future?
I see it as a risk worth taking. I'm only into the books for $10 a copy + grading fees. If I'm wrong, then you win some you lose some.

Walking Dead 100 2nd print is going to be a BEAST. I think median sales in 9.8 will be $300-500 w/highs being even more than that if they can do him right on the show...especially the 1st episode he appears.
This guy may be on to something. I bid on a 9.8 and stopped at $200 - it just ended on E-Bay at $318! That's almost double last GPA. Glad I listened to his advice and grabbed a NM+ possible 9.8 copy earlier this week for $40.
That was my listing. I was shocked at the final bid, expecting it to end around $200 as well. I wanted to test the market with one copy, I have a few more in hand that I'll be waiting on
This book is hot! Apropos the thread
Waiting for?
His actual appearance on the show. When the general populace join the speculators in overpaying for a book that was common a month ago!
Does that usually work? I assume you think it will sell for me more.
Yes I think that
Has it ever worked that way? I know for movies it does not and I want to say it is also not the case for TV but I don't know.
Walking Dead seems to buck the trend with that if I recall, but that's not based on any data.

Really really great seller! Responded to my WTB thread, with books relevant to my search for a good price, then shipped super fast. No problems with my man Revat!!

Just ran across this one today (yes, it's borderline Copper Age). The proportions of the characters remind me of Liefeld's work.
That is a horrifyingly bad iron man
That's one heavy Iron Man suit. No wonder Tony Stark needs Thor's hammer to prop him up.
Colonoscopy, super-hero style...
I'm not sure if Scarlet Witch or Iron Man's standing pose is more feminine

Is the new AMC show "Into the Badlands" a ripoff of Lazarus or what? There are tons of elements in common from the trailer. This might crush any hope of seeing Lazarus in another medium

Just started re-reading from #1...enjoying it as much as the first time.
Anyone agree with me that this is a top-10 Modern Book?
For me-
TWD
Saga
Preacher
Y Last Man
New 52 Batman
Invincible
Fables
East of West
I can't think of more off the top of my head, but I'm sure I missed something
Congrats on the re-read! I do it once a year and love it every time!
I'd add...
Sandman
HellBlazer
Watchmen
Ex Machina
Not sure i would put East of West on the list just yet...
Don't wanna be that guy...but Watchmen is Copper, no? Sandman is on my to-do list for sure!

I am not nor have ever been 60 years old
Do you also deny that you one day will be 60 years old??
don't let the crazies get you down
-
No the one where he said that you were 60 years old
-
No
The original post has my vote for "most nonsensical statement of the year"
-
I saw his post earlier while at work...
Definely strike worthy...
I've seen his posts on other forums like car forums-he seems to be universally despised wherever he goes.
Kav are you really over the age of 60?
