    That's fair.

But even with what he is doing... to me it is all enveloped under personal laziness.   Whoever consigns with him is paying the eBay fee as well as Gabe's fee.

Buzz, go back and reread Gabe's fee structure.  There is no Gabe's fee.  He basically says you can either pay him 10% or set a price that it sells for and anything over that Gabe keeps.  So if I give him my first edition charizard holofoil (interestingly enough, got that in the first pack of Pokemon cards I ever bought when I was 13) and tell him the price is $18,000 (which is what the market value of the card is) Then if he sells it for $18,000 he makes $0.  Heck if he sells it for $18,500 he only makes $500 on a $18,500 sale (which is 2.7%).  He would have just been better off undercutting other dealers consignment rate.

I plan on having my fun with the moving guy using a different name and address... that is VERY easily done.

As far as the old friend... from using the whitepages and seeing multiple drug related, fraud, theft and shall we say other convictions, I knew where to look up mugshots and got those too. He has a very common name so I wanted to make sure.

This isn't going to work Buzz....

    1941 (1979)
Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi, Treat Williams, Nancy Allen

    Directed by: Steven Spielberg

    Platform: Netflix

    IMDB 5.8/10, RT: 39% Rotten

Synopsis: Hysteria grips California in the wake of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. An assorted group of defenders attempt to make the coast defensible against an imagined Japanese invasion, in this big budget, big cast comedy. Members of a Japanese submarine crew scout out the madness, along with a Captain in Germany's Kreigsmarine (Navy).

Verdict: A comedy directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Robert Zemeckis & Bob Gale! I had high hopes straight away. Didn't live up to them, it was moderately funny but never seemed to know what it wanted to be, an Airplane rip off or just a general comedy, I felt the "laugh out loud" parts were early on and didn't really give much after that. Turned it off after an hour.

Did you see the theatrical or extended cut?  The extended cut (about 30 minutes longer) is a bit better, but neither film is a real "comedy" (I think of it more in the vain of Sellers' Dr. Strangelove.)

    Oh no problem... lol

I have no problem answering most anything asked in this journal (within reason... in order to protect the certain privacies of myself and others.)

The condos are definitely bland... I just punched the address up in Google Maps.

And, given where they're located, sell for over $1 million for a 1 bedroom lol

I've been doing these things since I've realized I've fallen for her. I thought she was too good to be true so I checked her out.

Here are the things that check out with her.

    Her email address

    Her address where she lives.

The places she told me she used to live all check out

    Her MNF account and password

The fact that she's always been honest with me

Here are things that I have yet to check out aside from What God told me as well as her sister, friends

    How she looks like

    What she sounds like

    Her unique eyes

    That she has a sister

That she has powers as well as her sister

When you say "Her address where she lives".  Do you mean that she gave you an address (123 Street Road, Random Town, Anystate USA) and you verified that is a real address or did you see that a "samantha Lastname" lives at the address you have?  Also do you have her last name?

    That's good.

And as a lawyer, you probably see all kinds of 18-20 year olds who drink, smoke, smoke pot, drive too fast, and get in trouble because they didn't listen to their parents or elders. I'm not saying your situation doesn't happen - glad it happened for YOU - I just see a lot more kids who DON'T seem to listen to that advice.

    Sure, 100% agree with you.

Seriously? My experience is that 20 year olds RARELY listen to the advice of adults.

I was very glad to listen to my mentor when I was in law school. I never would have accomplished half of what I have if it wasn’t for her advice. I still see her a few times a year for dinner and run things by her.

As I said before, I’ve been following this since the beginning.  I don’t recall anyone saying they wanted you to fail.

There’s a big difference in thinking you are going to fail and wanting you to.

I mean I would have killed for this level of support when I was in my 20s. Dozens if not hundreds of very knowledgeable people WANTING to see him succeed, giving him practical, helpful advice.

Honestly - if I was Gabe's age again, with no job and nothing really tying me to any particular place - I would 100% go on the adventure of heading to USA to hang with the hot chicks (even if they didn't have superpowers).  Im not sure what the downside is.  How are they working him?  For what he has no $$$?

Mental illness is a hell of a drug. It’s entirely possible that Sam is a real genetic female. It’s also possible that she’s in love with Gabe. She may not be working him in any way, other than the fact that she has delusions that she has super powers, she could be entirely honest (she’s a female named Sam who is a hot blonde) all of that is possible. IF I had to guess, she’s a Michelle carter type. Lonely, home alone, and mentally ill.

It's not only military. Also you can be a non-us person and get it done. You asked me to show you proof of getting married online and that's what I've done.

    1) Canada does not allow Marriage by proxy.  They will recognize it if it is done in a country where it is recognized and you were an active duty military member. http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1081&top=14. 2)California allows it as follows:

Marriage by proxy is NOT allowed in California. Family Code, Section 420(a), requires the two parties, marriage officiant and witness if applicable be physically present together in the same location for the marriage to be performed.

California Family Code 420(b) allows a member of the Armed Forces of the United States who is stationed overseas and serving in a conflict or a war and is unable to appear for licensure and solemnization of the marriage to enter into a marriage by the appearance of an attorney-in-fact, commissioned and empowered in writing for that purpose through a power of attorney (POA).  https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CHSI/Pages/California-Marriage-License-General-Information.aspx

    3) Colorado allows it as follows:

A proxy marriage license may be granted to an absent person who is:

    • A member of the armed forces of the United States who is stationed in another country or in another state in support of combat or military operation; or
    • A government contractor, or an employee of a government contractor, working or in support of US military operations in another country or in another state

Requirements for applying for a marriage license for a proxy marriage are:

    • One party is a resident of Colorado;
    • One party appears in person to apply for the marriage license and pays the required fees;
    • The signatures of both parties to the proxy marriage are required, and the party present shall sign the marriage license application and provide an absentee affidavit form containing the notarized signature of the absent party, along with proper identification  documents required for a marriage license for the absent party; and
    • Both parties (and the proxy) are 18 years of age or older.
    • The proxy for the absent spouse must be the person named on the Power of Attorney form, must have a valid ID and must be present to apply for the marriage license.

Self-solemnization is not allowed in a marriage by proxy.

You must have a notarized Marriage Ceremony Proxy Power of Attorney form. The spouse who can be present and the proxy must both present a valid ID when applying for the license. https://www.denvergov.org/content/denvergov/en/denver-office-of-the-clerk-and-recorder/marriage-civil-union-licenses/license-information.html

    4) Kansas, which was one of the 4, seems to have pulled it and no longer allows it.

    5) Montana is the fourth and they were the only one that didn't require you to be in the armed forces, just that one of the two spouses be a resident of Montana.

The 3 states mentioned before all require a trip to get a marriage certificate.  Montana is the only one that doesn't require that.  So no, YOU can't get married on the internet.

  11. 8 minutes ago, uchiha101 said:

Nope.  That's a cool site (that doesn't work most of the time based on the reviews) but you can't get married through it.  It only "works" in places that allow marriage by proxy.  There are 4 states in the US that allow proxy marriages.  None of those are Vermont.  Even for the ones that do allow it, they require her to have your power of attorney first, and for you usually to be on active military duty.  3 of the 4 require that one of the two spouses go and get a marriage certificate first.  So no, that's not legitimate.

    "Superpower", though.

Maybe meth. I've seen 6 cops struggle to arrest 1 man on meth before. Short-term "power", though.

Dude,"right" Barry looks like he ATE "left" Barry.  I call doubling your size in bulk (and growing your head!) a superpower.  (He's Ben Grimm!).  Yea.  Crack and Meth would definitely be another way. Richard Prior turned into the Human Torch because of Crack...

if the girl you speak of is your avatar, she's a looker. Easily model materiel. Are you model materiel? Are you a looker? If the answer is yes you're a hunk who's a winner, Ok, could be.

If the answer is you're a normal guy like the rest of us, you're being played. It's why female sex workers call the guy the "trick," carnival workers call us "marks" or "rubes."

Hash facts of life my friend.

Naw the girl in his avatar/pic is not his "wife".  It's the picture of a girl who looks like her.
