  1. So, no spoilers of course. The art style really grew on me and I liked it. It had a "living comic book" vibe going and ended up I really liked it. It is NOT a mirage movie and nothing like I,II,III. Do not go in looking for that. It IS a very fun movie. There were multiple times the theater was all laughing loudly. If you are a fan of 87 and the playmates toys, there are SO many easter eggs. The voice actors are all really good, especially Ice Cube. I really liked it, most importantly, all the little kids leaving the theater were telling their parents how much THEY liked it, which is great! Not surprised Paramount already green lit a sequel and a two season show based on the movie for Paramount Plus. I do have one minor complaint, and while it does not spoil anything in the film, I am still going to put it in spoilers because I don't want anyone to know anything about the film they don't want to know about going in.
  2. $100 maybe? Is it a first print? How bad is the damage?
  3. Popped out of the subway today to see this, made me happy!
  4. Well.... he did very famously have one of his teeth pushed through his nose... Also, they throw him off a 20 foot steel cage.... Then THROUGH a steel cage onto a folding chair.... O and through a burning table... And Vader powerbombed him on the concrete giving him a concussion (Same guy who also ripped his ear off) @BuzzettaAm I forgetting any other insane Foley Bumps?
  5. Yes, it is going up on Pluto TV (and presumably Paramount Plus) by the end of this month. Nick gets it later this year, and then international channels as well. This is wonderful news, and now, they just need to get the rights to the original movies to have the whole oeuvre.
  6. The only showing by me is July 29th at 2. Regardless, I got them and looking forward to it.
  7. At the theater to see Oppenheimer. They have a ton of tmnt displays (have tickets to see it on July 29th) but um why does Donny have Leo’s swords?
  8. Miss those days God, 2000s NYC was the best.
  9. Can confirm that it’s tales of the tmnt #45 page 9. Guess the lettering was done digitally.
  10. There’s two different things going on. You can have CGC take care of everything in private or you can take care of it yourself. If you go the private route, you drop your books off at cgc along with your form and then Cgc takes them all with them to Kevin who sits down and signs or signs and remarks depending on what you paid and which service you selected. Then the books are handed back to cgc, they grade and encapsulate them, and mail them back to you. You pay $90 or $130 plus shipping. And done. 6-8 weeks later you see it finished. Other option is that Kevin is at sdcc. You take your books you go to his booth, you tell his handlers that you want Cgc sig series. You fill out the paperwork they give you (which is just a paper version of the online form) you go through his (usually long lol) line and meet Kevin, get to talk to him, shake hand, take a picture etc. see him sign your books or remark them. Then his crew takes your books and they drop them off at Cgc for you. You pay kevin (usually idk his sdcc prices) $20 or $40 for a remark per book. And his team charges you for the Cgc fees which i think is like $50-80 depending on what you’re submitting. so you’d get the same service, possibly pay a little less, and get to meet Kevin as well.
  11. Stupid question. If you're dropping off books at SDCC, why not just go meet Kev and have him sign them there? (His reps are witnesses so you can still submit for Sig Series). That way you get to actually meet Kev too.
  12. Not sure if joking or serious, but on the serious side, The JOBS act specifically deals with "Crowdfunding" means of offering ownership of a company. It's never a "Donation". If instead it was a joke...
  13. Its difficult. They are still property of the owner, not the company so it's not like the company can sell it or the courts can seize it to sell off to satisfy creditors. BUT.... things disappear and I doubt that a company in bankruptcy is still making its insurance premium payments.
  14. Whelp, guys ya ain't gonna be getting your books back, cause OP is gonna be sitting in jail soon You can't just offer stakes in a company like that. The JOBS act controls how this is done. Since he's trying to gain $160,000, he needs to be releasing INDEPENDENTLY-AUDITED finances. Where are those OP? I assume you also uploaded your FORM C into EDGAR? FINRA will also want a word with OP. Jeebus this thread just keeps going from bad to worse.
  15. O boy. I’m sure my generosity will only come back to bite me in the rear, but eh. Heros, as a practicing attorney, i can tell you several things. 1) your understanding of libel is off by a country mile (this is coming from an attorney who has successfully won defamation cases as high as the state Supreme Court). 2) You are doing yourself no personal, legal, or health favors with your responses so far. My guess is you’re overwhelmed and not thinking straight so let me help you out. Here should be your next steps. 1) publicly post you’re going to follow my plan. 2) begin organizing all of your current customers from first received to most recently received. 3) once you have all their information, start with the oldest and reach out to them. Be contrite, apologize for the delay, and give them the option. Give them a reasonable estimate of how long the work will take. Ask them “I can return your book(s) or it will take between 6-9 months for me to finish. Which would you prefer?” Tell them that you will wait 7 business days for a reply and if none is received you will return their books in whatever state they are currently in, including half finished. 4) If they tell you to wait, great. If they don’t respond or tell you to send back, pack them up and return them. Do this as quickly as possible. 5) Rinse and repeat until you’ve cleared out the backlog. 6) this process should take no more than a week. Use a master letter where you can just replace the name and estimate of time, it will make your life easier. Given the value of books here, it’s starting to get into serious legal territory. Based on the values shown here and the length of time things have gone on, a competent attorney can easily Pierce the corporate veil. Not only that, there’s also the risk of criminal liability for theft by conversion (if a person makes a demand for their property back and you ignore or refuse to return it, it does rise to the level of theft). Even a low grade purple label AF 15 is several thousand dollars these days. Now multiply that by how many other books and you’re talking felony charges. In Oregon for example, the theft of something valued at $1,000 or more is a C level felony with consequences of up to $125,000 in financial penalties and or up to 5 years in prison. Each $1,000+ book would be its own charge. Good luck with everything. People here have been extremely patient and supportive and I would hope you appreciate that.
  16. (Boilerplate legal disclaimer, this is not legal advice, seek an attorney in your jurisdiction if you need legal advice) Services are not debts, so you're not entitled to bankruptcy proceedings. A verdict is.
  17. Just bought my ticket. Wonder if I can bring Mikey without them charging me...
  18. I personally prefer the Cult of Meat with Extra Cheese...
