I would agree with this statement. You guys have been way too forgiving with such a long grace period. Unless the buyer and seller have worked out a payment plan. It should be less time!!!

Pretty eye-opening thread here. From what I've seen in this thread the number of probation buyers has fluctuated from about 8-11 people ( currently 11 on the list if you include Hush ). Some people coming and going off the list throughout it's inception. There are about 70 consistent buyers ( maybe that number is too high for this example ) in this selling forum using in a given period, say throughout a rolling monthly average. With those numbers, 15.7% are the odds that the trusting seller will encounter issues with a buyer on these forums. Doesn't bold well for a community trying to foster a safe environment for a buy and sell. It's no different then the headaches encountered selling on eBay. It's probably always been this way....just becomes more transparent because of this thread. The one positive is you do see a lot of interaction between the same buyers and sellers that have established a good friendship unlike many other sites on the internet.

I gotta agree with Mike, very sweet "raw" copies you have Angelo!!!! yes... even though I pulled away from ST's at the beginning of this year and sold them all off.... I still love'em... and I check this thread daily...

This has to be the best I've done on eBay in a long time.... I picked this lot of 9 Jimmy Olsen's up for $21.56 off eBay about a week and half ago with one of those small pictures featuring the auction. The books arrived today better then I could've imagined...

Were you even HERE when the new forums opened up? Arch was toying with the settings and colors, and there were some really freakass things happening, eye-wracking color schemes, etc. which elicited the negative comments. Then Arch toned some other stuff up, hence the positive comments. It's similar to having your house remodeled, and nothing working when you open the door. Suddenly you're cheering when they get the toilets working and turn on the hot water. It's not that you are happy, but that anything would be an improvement. And some bozo walking in AFTER it's mostly fixed up and telling the family they were "all over-reacting" and that it "wasn't that bad" is exactly what you're doing. Vince, Yes.. I was here.. and I saw the horror that everyone went thru... it was quite devastating.. ( that was sarcasm... ) but to compare this to someone coming into my home and violating the set up of my personal house is crazy man!!! This is a chat board... keep it in perspective

I like it.. and I didn't make one comment or complain after the conversion...it is what it is.. we all get used to things... I did get a good chuckle from watching people complain, then 6 hours later say something positive... it's human nature...

About a month ago.. I went on a quest to get the Neal Adams run of GL from 76-89 and tonight the final pieces of the puzzle arrived...

Well.. since we seem to be on books from October this week.. these just arrived from Andy this today!!! one of the coolest covers I've ever seen... you just can't go wrong with a Neal Adam's wrap around cover and DC 100 pager to boot!! this book has been on my "must have" list for months and finally Andy let his HG copy go...

Of course ... sounding like a skipping record... An awesomely huge Kudos to October for a great copy of Superman, Jimmy Olsen ( 1st Darkseid ) and Teen Titans #14 with one of the coolest covers I've ever seen!!!! Thanks so much Andy!!!
