That is so sick! I need to get a Mooneyham sketch!
-
Yeah those eBay prices look pretty standard to me.
-
I almost sold them all to TBP but I didn't have 5 copies of one of the printings. They all sold fast except one or two of the 5th printings. 3b just sold this week.
Woah. Thays crazy. I think it's a testament to how this book is gathering a following. I think there are 50 sets on the registry?
I didn't jump on the saga bandwagon until issue 6. So I missed out on all the initial releases of the reprints and I had to pay a premium for all the other issues. I know I overpaid for the rrp.
Me too on the RRP. Although I don't really mind. It was the first book I ever purchased from the boards

I just received word that my 1 third printing is a 9.8, but my 1 fourth printing received a 9.6. That book is the Saga white whale
-
I think he means Marvel NOW Avengers 23
-
Dang. My registry set is no slouch, but I need to get a 9.9. I am green with envy

I bought mine because Nick did an amazing sketch of Einstein drinking whiskey in the front (thumbs u

NYCC Hardcover for Vol. 1 from 2012

It is cool that these book are going to fans. If you want to pay $200 for a sketch that you dig, more power to you!
-
YES! The Oppenheimer War is one of the coolest parts of the book.
-
That is a hefty price. If an original sketch is all you want, buying the hardcover from his website is a much cheaper option

ok I get it yeah you could never be sure about a book but this one has been crazy from the start.
I actually don't get why it wasn't a no-brainer....
Massively popular book with solid creative team

Less than 300 No. 1 C2E2 Variants
+
crazy way they were distributed to retailers

DUH
It appears the numbers from submissions at NYCC are in and they didn't move much.
A total of 43 9.8s now. 24 blue labels and 19 yellows
I really think we are probably looking at more than half of the C2E2 variants not being 9.8 worthy and maybe even more than than.
Hopefully there will be 44 soon

Oh snap!
What's the first appearance of the Infinity gems?
UPDATE: It looks like the soul gem first appears in the last page of Marvel Premiere 1

Emma Stone

I can't forget about HIM! Some old label goodness
-
Loves me some Infinity Gauntlet. I just got back into comics earlier this year, and I remembered Infinity Gauntlet happening as a kid, but if it wasn't X-Men related back in the day I didn't read it.
I'm making up for it now.

Duncan! Super deezed
I love these sketches from Matt.

Eric purchased a slab from me recently and couldn't be easier to deal with. Fast payment an great communication. He's an asset to the boards (thumbs u

I have a 9.8 with a small ink stain around the bottom staple. It's maybe an 1/8th of an inch.
-
Definitely read his FF run. One of the best modern day super-hero runs
-
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Not the Will!
Gwendolyn will come back and magic him back to health. He's too cool of a character to kill off. Or maybe this is me trying to make myself feel better

Why can't we all just get slabbed copies of both RRPs and get along
Do you have a supplier? Because that's a lot of RRPs
I wish!
I do have a blue 9.8 candidate at CGC currently. If it hits that grade you will probably see it for sale somewhere.
