Anybody think Roz Solomon is the new Thor? Based on reading the series and talking to a few others I'm fairly certain she is. I'm also pretty sure her first appearance is Thor God of Thunder #12. Just figured I'd put it out there see what you all thought..

I think she'll do great too. I Would normally find it hard to believe her books could get any hotter but I thought that about deadpool too before his movie announcement.

Could Harley comics get even hotter (if that's even possible) with today's rumors about Margot Robbie playing her in The Suicide Squad film?

A 9.8 Edge of the Spiderverse sold for $100. I can't link to it for certain reasons on these boards though..

That is your definition of first appearance, as you've stated many times, and it's correct from a strict dictionary standpoint. However, as comic books are a storytelling medium, what is collected as first appearances is usually character involvement in a narrative, not Previews ads, CSN stories, flyers, coupons or inter-office memos. Most Image and indie books lately have taken on tons of social issues as well as injected the writers personal political beliefs onto them, Saga, East of West, Y the Last Man, come to mind, but I could go on and on..

Brilliant! I know its blasphemous to some but I liked it better than The Avengers. Thought it had more depth and emotion.

I'm thinking iZombie will go for much more come this fall when the show hits the airwaves. I'm holding all my copies til then..

Dropped 5 books off 4/16. Just picked them all up from CGC today. Took 12 business days.

Any reason people are trying to sell Pax Romana for 49.99 and 89.99?? Hasn't been selling for nearly that..

Made my first visit to CGC headquarters 2 weeks ago. I only live an hour away so it was really convenient to not have to spend the extra money on shipping, was also able to get it the day it was ready which was great. I met one of the staff and she was extremely nice. Also got some cool insight on what employees can and can't do with there own books. Overall a really pleasant experience and I'll probably be back next week if my other books are on schedule. Also a plus to not worry about shipping my books.

Well I just got a package in a bubble mailer, which I don't mind since it's only a $10 book (The Life After) but it was in between 2 thin priority box cardboard and just barely fit the book resulting in a ton of spine stress, if he had used thick cardboard that extended over the book it would've probably been fine. The guy may have a replacement to send but if he sends it the same way is it even worth it to get another or just get a refund? Seems like a really big seller. Has over 17,000 feedback.

Gods & Monsters did a good job collecting the different Hellboy and BPRD material, which is referenced even by Hellboy.com and AllThingsHellboy.com. Hellboy/BPRD Reading Order Appreciate it.

So I'm reading Hellboy starting at Seed of destruction. Does anyone have a reading order for all the Hellboy books up to current that can give me a list?

There are a few Hellboy collectors out there that caught on early, and bought everything they could find. Imapaqrat, who is a seller loaded with the early Hellboy books, posted this picture the previous year when selling off his Dime Press 4's one at a time. I had some good email chats with him about Hellboy. SDCC 2, Next Men 21 and Hellboy 1 were some of his deep stock.

Yea tried not to make that face at the shop today when I found these. Found 2 copies of The Strain #1 for $1/each as well..

I haven't invested much I got my GoG #1 9.8 signed by Stan Lee for a grand total of $51. Stan Lee sig was a gift. I actually am quite excited for the movie. My gf after seeing the trailer wants everything Rocket. I think it will bring in a decent amount of women which will help. It has a good amount of buzz at the moment and it opens in a spot with not a lot of competition, although August is notoriously a slower Summer month for box office.. I think if it approaches $150mil domestic its golden. Overseas will take care of the rest. It also is suppose to feature Thanos and play into Avengers 3. Marvels brand also means something right now. But I guess we'll just have to wait. I personally think it looks bad , I'll be there opening weekend..
