Midtown still had plenty on the shelves at the Times Square location. All had the top corner bindery tears.

Where's 127 preview?!?!?!
Image didn't distribute WD previews to reviewers this week.

My favorite issue yet. I've been back and forth on this series, but thought this issue was a blast.

For the folks who live in NYC, Fiona Staples will be signing on April 4th at 6:30pm at the Midtown Comics Downtown at 64 Fulton St.. Unfortunately i can't make it as i will be in Boston for Opening Day for the Red Sox, but ENJOY!!
Very cool!
We need some yellows of issues of #10 and up!
Yellow labels!
Does anyone know if any CGC witnesses going to be present?

Sherry has both arms in issue 106. If the cover girl has a missing arm, this would rule out a prequel.
I'm not so sure she's missing two arms from that picture. I think it's just a strange angle with the arm behind the knee/inner leg. Look at the arm where it changes angles -- it looks to me like the arm is angling to the leg, like it is resting on her leg behind the giant knee-pad.

Read Y, it's great
I dont think Ive heard a bad thing about it yet to be honest
It Dethroned my favorite run of almost 10 years (Bendis' Daredevil) which I thought would never happen
Thats probably.... my favourite run also! (thumbs u
Y is my all time favorite so that is why I hoard #1's cause it is obvious it will be a TV show or movie eventually.
I am hoping Saga grows on me more as the series carries on.
That's not hoarding.
Ya'll hoarders need to share those RRPs.
I sold my other 5 CGC 9.8's to board members over the summer
It's just the jealousy speaking

My bet is Alana. They were looking to get onto the 'soaps'. That's probably her alter-ego.

Recording a conversation without express consent is illegal, and I would never suggest anyone engage in illegal activities.
If you choose that course, however, I won't castigate you.

It depends on the jurisdiction, some states permit recorded conversations to be used as evidence in a proceeding where only one party was aware of the recording, and others require that both parties be aware of the recording for it to be admissible. I'm not aware of laws that make the act of recording the conversation illegal, however, just whether it can be used as evidence or not. There might be, but I don't know.
It is a state-by-state issue -- some states only require one party to consent, while others require two. Information on this is pretty easy to find. But you'll also need to consider whether you're calling someone over state lines, because then you're not just invoking state law but federal as well (though I believe that's a one-party consent rule, anyway, http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2511).

Just reiceved an email from DCBS that my order for both issue 7 and 8 was cancelled. Reason - "will be offered later".
Not even a "will be solicited in such and such month of previews". Just offered later!
I guess we shouldnt expect any Nowhere Men this year.
That's really disappointing.

Haven't seen many sig opps for BKV or Staples in a while. Maybe lack of SS opps are driving the price up.
I was about to say the same thing, very good point. I wish Fiona would do c2e2 so I could get Lying Cat sketched on something
It'd be nice. I've got a stack of books for them to sign at some point. Getting impatient though.
I don't think Fiona and BKV have done joint signings since the book released =(
They were both at NYCC in 2012, though I don't know if they signed jointly. I naively hoped they'd show up this year, but no dice.

Who cares? More Saga is good Saga!

If you want to unload your RRPs, I will gladly take all 3 9.8s for $900.
I'd take one for $400.
Can I be next in line? (and Harvey, where did you get that awesome DD smiley face in your sig line? b/c it is amazing)

I read through it pretty damn quickly, so it probably deserves another re-reading, but man 18 was good.
Very nice issue and a great way to end before the hiatus. Vaughan writes characters better than any author out there (that I'm aware of).

Another review by some guy I know: http://13thdimension.com/advance-review-saga-18-2/

Looks like another 9.8 copy of no. 6 sold recently for $120.

Picked up a WD 8 slab from Marc. Arrived quickly, perfectly packed, and in great condition. He was a pleasure to do business. Many thanks.
-
This can be yours. Starting at only $70.
Is the alpaca saying "meow"?
-
Got a nice slab, well packed, and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks and hope to do it again some time.

I can't imagine being unhappy with that ending. Y's ending was amazing.

Don't know if this is new they let me grab a couple this morning at Times Square without batting an eye.
