Sean Wang is a comic book writer and artist best known for his acclaimed series, RUNNERS, a fun sci-fi action comedy about alien smugglers. The series can be read for free as an ongoing webcomic at www.runnersuniverse.com and is also available in comic stores, ComiXology, and Webtoon Canvas. Sean has also worked on TICK AND ARTHUR (New England Comics) and MELTDOWN (Image Comics), which garnered him major acclaim for his use of multiple art styles to tell different aspects of the story. He has also illustrated magazines and children's books for LEGO and Scholastic, including several LEGO DC Supehero titles. Hailing from South Deerfield, MA, Gary Smith is a 1991 graduate of the Joe Kubert School. His resume includes work for Valiant/Acclaim comics and Canson Paper Company's "How to Draw Manga" line of comic book papers. Smith currently produces two comic books: The Doe-Nild and Tales of J'lleen. Steve Murphy is a comic book writer whose work has been nominated for both the Harvey and Eisner Awards. He has written Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and animation, along with other projects designed for older readers. Rolling Stone magazine includes his The Puma Blues among its list of "the 50 greatest graphic novels of all time." He is currently writing his first non-fiction graphic novel in partnership with artist Andrew Del Valle. Sky Boivin is a local fantasy writer who enjoys sharing her poetry and art of various mediums. Joe St.Pierre has sold over 2 million comic books illustrating and writing for Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, BOOM and Valiant Comics, where he co-created the SECRET WEAPONS and N.I.O. series. Joe has the distinction of penciling the most #1 issues featuring SPIDER-MAN and/or the Spider-Man family. Joe also works in the fields of intellectual property design, commercial illustration and storyboards for animation and video games. Clients have included MTV, Capstone, Discovery Channel, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros. The owner stopped subbing shortly before/during the start of COVID19 shutdowns, but continued buying slabs for resale if they walked through the door. When the c2e2 drama started 2 weeks ago he put a hold on buying any slabs that came in....a severely over graded ‘CGC 9.8’ copy of The Boys 1 came in last week (looked to be 9.2 or lower) and that sealed the deal. My guess is that this does last....over the past 5 years we’ve had multiple conversations about our faith (or lack thereof) in impartial grading and encapsulation.

My LCS no longer buys or sells CGC slabbed books after this
