    I wanted to go out yesterday, but couldn't make it out until today. I stopped by 5 yard sales today, no comic books at any of those stops. One of the yard sales advertised in my area on craigslist had comics, but it was only scheduled for Saturday (the reason I wanted to go out yesterday ). I emailed the OP of the ad to see if the comics were still available, they hadn't sold . 20 minutes and $10 later I picked up 26 books, here's all the bronze mid to high grade stuff:

    Got a call to a barn/house on a road I drive down all the time. Turned out to be 20 banana boxes, each with 3 coffee boxes packed with comics. Almost everything was alphabetized, but unfortunately most of the collection was 90s drek. The owner told me that it hadn't been picked through, but many titles, especially first appearances, were missing from consecutive runs. No ASM or UXM titles to be found. Here are highlights of the 400+ books I bought. (TMNT is a 3rd print):

    My Dad has always been very supportive of my collecting comics, he used to take me on bike rides to the corner store to pick up a book. Or take me out to the comic book store to pick out a book or some trading cards. My Dad lives in Montana and I'm in Massachusetts now. Since I got back into collecting and now buying/selling he's been keeping an eye out for comics. He's sent me a few stacks of books over the past couple years, nothing jaw dropping, but today he made a really great find. My Dad's weed whacker broke today, so he took it to a small engine repair shop for a new part. The man who owns/runs the repair shop is a retired Air Force vet, and aside from repairing engines, he collects what most would deem "junk." My Dad saw the box of comics amongst the "junk" and asked if they were for sale. Here's what he got:
