  1. Late to the thread, sorry, but how on earth did this book manage to receive a whopping 8.0 after it was inspected by three different graders?! I glanced at it and immediately thought 4.0/4.5. This really is shocking.
  2. Sold a Cap 6. Hassle free transaction. Thank you!
  3. Seriously, one of the best buyers on these boards. I look forward to our next transaction!

  5. I sold an ASM 129 to Joey, and It was a hassle free transaction, and a nice guy to boot! Thanks, Joey!
  6. Just saw it! My review... My List... 1. X2 2. DOFP 3. First Class 4. X1 5. The Wolverine 6. Origins 7. Last Stand
  7. Its funny how this thread is turning into nothing but spoiler comments. I'll be going today at 2:30!
  8. I personally have no interest in anything Marvel printed in the 90's. They were in MORE for the money than delivering quality stories. I don't hear people saying New Mutant is a good quality run - most people are saying Deadpool is popular. Which is exactly why NM 98 is where it's at in terms of monetary value.
  9. The value of this book isn't about the print runs (the market is already flooded with 9.8's). It's all about the demand, and what people are willing to pay (which is sometimes scary). The 9.8's are only $400 right now. I predict the value will increase significantly within the years to come. If there is a bubble burst pertaining to this book, It wont happen for a long time, and It may even be a similar burst to Hulk 181, in that it was the 9.8's that have taken a hit. Regardless of that, take a good look at how H181 is doing in any other grade, it's kind of baffling. As I said before, there is so much more potential for this book to increase in value for years to come. If it's a 9.8 you want, get it now, because it's only going to go up in price, and I can guarantee that you'll never see the current price falter. I also agree that a 9.6 is the bigger bang for your buck.
  10. I was going to say this also. If you're really against the price, just get a 9.6.... 1 extra NCB spine tick for half the cost. Worth it to me (thumbs u +1 Same concept with Hulk 181.
  11. NM 98 is one of the best investment books out there (I'm sure many will disagree). Deadpool has become an incredibly popular character, and there is still a remarkable amount of room for said popularity to increase. 10 years from now, you'll be wishing that you picked up a 9.8 for $400.
  12. Thanks for posting these clips, Bosco! Im really enjoying them!
  13. Hibou was awesome enough to hook me up with a copy of The Ten Cent Plague for free! How AWESOME is that?! Thanks a ton!!!
  14. I am at the age where I just barely made it out of the group of people who tweet. There are a few not much younger than me who do it. I believe the majority are teenagers though. I'm not getting a response when I send a tweet. Is it always this pointless?
  15. Wow. That's kind of sad. All the unethical stuff he's done, all the poses and things he's ripped off over the years and all the people he's screwed over and you admire him? Well, I guess if Chris Brown can still sell albums, Rob Liefeld can still sell comics. Actually, that would be sad If I admired Liefeld for his screw ups. However, I've already professed what I admire about him, and none of it has anything to do with his wrongdoings. Let me reiterate what I've been trying to say the entire time. I fully acknowledge Rob's screw ups and trespasses. I get it...really I do. He's pissed a lot of people off. I've never denied that. On the flip side, I hold a certain level of respect for him, because I feel he has contributed certain positive elements to the comic book community. For example, his artwork was very appealing to me as a kid, and he had a positive effect on me getting into comics, and I highly doubt I'm the only one who was positively influenced by his work. Overall, Im trying to look at the big picture in it's entirety. I'm trying to look at both sides of the coin to this argument, and I am accepting both sides. Btw, that comment of mine that you quoted was more of a joke than anything else.
  16. I wonder if you started this thread because you knew what the outcome was going to be.
