With my SSOC run complete, I find myself upgrading copies now! Here are 4 new additions this week! How I love this title! The covers alone make it worth collecting.

This one will be interesting. VERY nice copy that has a chance to set a new GPA for a .5. This is a classic buy the book and not the grade. Did you get VueScan? I've got it and my 8250 is working great. More info? Mac or PC? What scan program are you using? I'm installing VueScan now and it seems to have resolved the issue! Thanks Andrew!!

I picked up my HP8250, installed the drivers, plugged it in, attached the USB and nada! I should add I'm not tech savy and maybe I did something wrong (but I think I did it all properly). Any advice would be appreciated!

I just picked up a used HP 8250 and have a question: the person I bought it from said it's just a plug and play scanner - that I don't need to install any drives. He demonstrated it to me and it looked fine but I just want to be sure. Is there anything I need to install to get the best scanning results? Thanks for your replies in advance and sorry if this has been asked somewhere earlier in this thread.

What was the grade for the book? Just curious! So glad I have my lowly 2.0 I couldn't afford this book anymore! Will this book EVER run out of steam? Or will demand always outpace supply? Seems unlikely to happen anytime soon!
