  1. Also a pretty cool one by Peter Travers.. http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/reviews/batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-20160322
  2. Pretty great review of the film from Richard Roeper http://chicago.suntimes.com/columnists/batman-v-superman-many-muscular-moments-in-clash-of-heroes/
  3. Thanks for sharing this. And it proves once again reviews are all over the place. It's either a strong Man of Steel follow-up, a mediocre movie but not a mess, or a hot mess. Weird! ASM 2 review May 2, 2014 Haha love that you dug that up! and Yes i do still like that movie. Im a sucker for Emma stone's Gwen character. this is much better than ASM 2. I am so over the overtly dark and gloomy stance on things. Why do people have to be disappointed if its not 90% on RT. The world we live in today is not a fun one to be in. Everything is overly criticized. Lets just have fun with what we watch and be happy that we are getting pretty awesome things to see on screen. I feel like everyone thinks they are entitled to greatness. Its hard to achieve greatness. Lets just have fun.
  4. This is craziness! I saw it Monday night at a fan screening... Im not a movie critic and I also tend to find enjoyment out of most things. So yes probably not the best person to ask about the movie but I just wanted to get my opinion out there. Is this The Dark Knight or Batman Begins.. no its not that type of movie. Is this the best Batman we have seen on screen I would say yes to that.. It makes me extremely excited to see the solo Batman movie that hopefully still gets out there. Did I love this movie.. Im not sure yet. I do know that while i was watching it I was thoroughly enjoying myself. From start to end I never thought it was boring at all. I am seeing it again Thursday night and Friday night and I will have a better understanding of my feelings then. But the more I think about it the more I believe I will be loving this movie by the weeks end. There is so much to process and yes while that might be a bad thing for a single movie. Its such a great thing for this movie as its a cornerstone of whats to come. There is one scene in this movie about mid way thru that I still cannot stop thinking about. That scene alone has me extremely excited about the Justice League and every other movie coming in this universe. Thoughts on some of the players. Affleck - Amazing portrayal of the old Bruce Wayne from TDKR. This is not Christian Bales Bat where he toss's the champagne from the roof. He reminds me so much of Frank Millers dection of Bruce and Batman. It as amazing to see on screen. I know some people and critics are going to have a problem with his "violence" and yes he is very violent and does some "unbatman" things you have to remember hes been around for 20+ years and hes over it. He does what needs to get done now. Irons as Alfred- Awesome interpretation of the character. Loved his interactions with Bruce. Cavil - Im not the biggest superman guy but he is serviceable again. I think he can be a bit one noted at times. He plays a very very good somber and mad superman but still waiting for his uplifting superman to come thru a bit more. Jesse Eisenberg- I absolutely loved his take on the character. I thought from the start this type of Lex was a cool way to go about it. His mannerisms and the way he goes about his business in the movie is very cool. I dont want to say too much as I fear spoiling. Gadot- she is good. Its hard to say anything more about her really as the role is so small.. She by no means is bad at all, but people saying she steals the movie are just trying to play up women power I believe. She is good and she has a key role in the end and I look forward to her solo movie. Overall I dont think it tried too hard to set up the DCEU and this movie can stand on its own. And just a little hint to on whats to come I would give it a 8.8 out of 10 Right now and I will re vist after Fridays viewing.. my $0.02
  5. Just got back from my screening... No words. The quickest 2.5 hours ever. I didn't want it to end
  6. Couldn't wait... watched episode 1 on the way to work. Loved it! Everything about it made me smile.
  7. It does bring up the question as to why he's not in bvs.. i assumed he was dead already
  8. JK Simmons to play Jim Gordon in the Justice League Movies http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/jk-simmons-joins-justice-league-as-commissioner-gordon?utm_campaign=jk-simmons-joins-justice-league-as-commissioner-gordon&utm_medium=email&utm_source=breaking_bulletin
  9. Is "The Flash's Terrifying vision" what Nightmare batman is in? is it really a Flash Dream?
  10. Now to go along with my Thursday and Friday tickets.. I forgot last year when I went to that Trailer screening in iMAX they said you would get tickets to an early show.. I just got my Pass to a screening in IMAX that Monday the 21st!!!! Looks like Ill be seeing it 3 times that week.
  11. I got my tickets for thursday the 24th at 6PM and friday the 25th at 7:30!!

  13. Trailer!!! http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/jessica-jones/37474/jessica-jones-first-full-trailer-for-marvels-new-netflix-series Looks so good!
  14. Hey guys.. dont know if you had a chance to see the modern selling forum but im selling my Enormous collection if anyone wanted to grab a few more copies Enormous Sale
  15. What would you guys say is the going price for a raw NM #1 thinking about selling my lot but dont want to get jolted. haha
  16. Kind of too late now. The damage has been done. They shouldn`t have shown that first Joker picture. It`s all about perception. While I dont mind the new "look" I also read somewhere might of been here actually not sure haha... but they released the image with all the joker tattoos as a tribute to the 75th anniversary to the character as if the joker was celebrating himself and that is not how the character will look in the movie actually.
  17. Seriously? For what? Dawson's Creek : The Space Program? I think everyone just needs to realize this is not Lees FF and its MIllars FF... Its almost identical to the Ultimate run which makes sense since Millar is Fox's Superhero guy.. If you dont like the Ultimate FF than you probably wont like this one... All of these actors have great pedigrees and are all very big up and comers in this industry if not already came. This is not your dads FF this is a FF for a younger generation.. I was skeptical as well at first but after these first initial trailers I think the movie looks like a lot of fun.. All the characters "feel" right to me. It could suck but I liked Ultimate FF and i think its so much fun seeing that interpenetration on screen.
  18. Didnt they announce this a while back when they said there will be a separate MOS 2 later ?
  19. Further to my point You may very well be right... but lets not just forget he was also a producer on this show as well.. Lets not jump there till we actually see it. All we know right now is there will be a season 2 of DD with almost all of the same people involved. They are not bringing in someone new to the fold that didnt work on season 1
  20. Deknight was from Buffy too.. and these guys were part of the show already.. there is no reason to believe that the show wouldnt be a continuation of the same style and heart of this show.
